Hi guys.

I know that some of you has Bond games in PC, like the classic 007 Nightfire. And you might even wondered one day how to play the epic PS2 version on it (imo, the PC version has good missions but the graphics sucks).

Well, i am here not to help you with that, but trying to Ask help with that; i'm trying to emulate 007 Nightfire PS2 on my computer, but i'm having some trouble at the lag, sound and video plugins configurations.

As you guys know, i'm running another fan movie, so this time i was thinking, instead of filming the missions in the PS2 with my camera pointed to the TV, giving a very low resolution, i thought possible to record it on PC.

If you guys could help me, i would thank you forever.

Those are my configurations. If you guys know what could i do, it would be useful; if you can't, no problem at all.

I can't help you in any way with disc-based console emulators. Every one I've ever found either still requires the disc to play or needs half a dozen different bios or other things that, for some reason, don't come with it.

Would be very fine; GC has better graphics than PS2. I'll just have to download the .ISO for Nightfire and then the GC. Thanks :)

No problem; I agree, that is very boring - every game you step on to play, you need to change the bios.

I Just have a doubt, i want to eliminate it before i test the GC Emulator.

My father has a Sony camera (i don't remember the model, i'll see when i get home - i'm at the High school right at this moment) And the camera has Cables for TV, AV and Audio, just like the Playstation 2. Once a time i tried to connect the cables to the TV i use and try to record it from the TV, however i wasn't that successful. The camera turned out a blue screen on it instead of the game's footage (lol) i tried to make several ways to try to have the camera recording the TV's screen but i couldn't.

Anyone knows how do i can record the footage on the TV by the camera? lol

    Anyone knows it? Please help.
  • @X3MSonicX, I have an off-topic question for you, that I hope you could take the time to answer.

I still have Nightfire 007 for PC, but I've never been able to play it: when I first owned it, my PC couldn't handle it, and now I'm on Windows Vista, and I can't get it to work when I install it.
Are you playing it on Vista, and if so, do you know what I could do to make it work?

Well, unfortunately i play it on Windows 7. Did you tried to run as Admin and/or with compatibility mode for Windows XP?

That's a pity. It may be the own Windows Vista, really. I suggest you to change the Operational System to Windows Seven, it's great and runs most of the games. You don't need to do that tho, but it's what you need if you want to play Nightfire. :/

@ZHalfter my friend, i got a question for you about the GC... I'd wanna know what config you use on the C-Stick, because i want to play by the Mouse, but there's something very strange happening, i move the mouse, But, the view in the game moves only "1 pixel", if you understand what i mean. It works, however can't move it freely.

    Here's the configs:

    NightfireConfigs.jpg

    'Zona morta' is DeadZone

    'Analógico Quadrado' is 'Square Analogic'
