Appropriate vehicles for some of the weather we have had where I am recently.
I'm jelous. All we get is 5-6 degrees celsius, rain and wind for the next 4-5 months. When I was growing up we still had at least one month with a decent amount of snow. Alas, no more.
Sounds like Northern Germany. We had the last REALLY snowy winter 15 years ago (09/10 and 10/11 were quite extreme), but since I'm not a fan of ice and snow (never really skied, nor ice skated) this is fine with me. And there are no mountains anywhere close anyway. 5° C and an occasional drizzle, with no need to clear the driveway more than once or twice, is my idea of winter around here. If this is due to global warming, I regret that, but count the result as positive for our region anyway.
That's because Northern Germany isn't too far away.... I live just west of Amsterdam.
Something to put in the Christmas stocking.
Come on, Commander, you know I'm not really surprised about that. 😉
The weather in the UK is erratic where I am, in winter it can shift 15 degrees centigrade in a blink of an eye, I do live on the coast so we get a lot of storms which is a major factor.
When the beaches and cliffs are covered in snow its stunning, I will be out with my camera, we have had blizzards on Christmas day a couple of times over the years.
Merry Christmas!
