Ah man, very sad news, I know he had been diagnosed with alzheimers about a year ago, brilliant artist, his film posters, too many to mention, were stunning, for Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, etc

    R. I. P. Drew Struzan created some of the greatest movie posters ever, Drew Struzan kind of brilliance is sadly lacking in modern film art.

    RIP Roberta Alexander: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roberta_Alexander
What Golda Schultz said about her today on social media:
🤍 The loss of a great like Roberta Alexander is deep for those who cherished her artistry and humanity. I first discovered her music before I had the privilege of meeting her, and when I tell you, the in-person experience was beyond what I could have imagined. I don’t think you would be able to grasp it. Such a generous spirit has left us. Such charm, wit, and sparkle has left the world.

I am grateful I met her, but even more grateful her music inspired me to keep going when so often there were voices telling me I didn't belong. God bless you Roberta, may home welcome you and may others discover the goodness that you have left in all the art you made!

You made my birthday a dream when you hugged me, and I’m forever grateful! RIP sweet sassy lady!

That's sad news about Samantha Eggar. I knew her best from the Columbo episode "The Bye-Bye Sky High I.Q. Murder Case" (1977) where she played Vivian Brandt, the murderer's spendthrift wife.

Samantha Eggar played Jean Luc Picards sister in law in Star Trek The Next Generation episode Family and in that episode Samantha Eggar had a reunion of sorts with The Bye-Bye Sky High I.Q. Murder Case co star Theodore Bikel who also appeared in Family.

Samantha Eggar is also part of the Bond alumni as Eggar did the voice for M in video game Nightfire.

Samantha Eggar also starred in 'The Molly Maguires', alongside Connery.

Klaus Doldinger, jazz musician (saxophonist), band leader (Passport) and composer of film scores (Das Boot), passed away at the age of 89 at his home in Upper Bavaria. Most Germans know him best as the creator of the intro music to the perennially popular crime/police TV series Tatort ("Scene of the Crime"), which has been running for 55 years and is up to over 1,300 episodes by now - all with Doldinger's original recording of its title theme from 1970.
