The Bride! - Official Teaser Trailer (2026) Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale, Jake Gyllenhaal

Kind of reminded me of a early 90's movie called Frankenhooker.

With also giallo and Diabolik vibes thrown in the mix, this one looks so up my alley. Haven't seen it yet, even though it's been on my radar for quite some time. Alas, no cinemas near my town have had it... :(

Tron: Ares - Official 'The Evolution' Trailer (2025)

It looks like they tweaked the effects on the original Tron film, I am going to have to try watch the first two films before I see Tron Ares at the cinema.

Ooh, a brand new Shane Black action comedy, based on the Parker novels has just dropped on Prime. Hadn't even heard of it. It's not supposed to be his best, but regardless that sounds very much up my street, what a treat. It's called Play Dirty.

Here's a trailer, which I won't even bother watching because I'm going to watch the film instead! :D

Another Parker film, that one snuck up on me. I didn't even know it was being made.

Yeah it's news to me too. Reviews seem to vary but it sounds worth a look to me.

It seems like the industry is starting to rediscover the value of mid budget comedies and action films, or even action/comedies. I remember loving a good 90 minutes of escapism.

Mid budget films is where money can be made, the uninspired over budget blockbusters have become very tired especially the superhero/comic book genre, I welcome fun and good scripts as apposed to dumb over stuffed special effects movies.

I find most music biopics a bit cheesy, and this looks no different. But as a huge Springsteen fan i'm quite looking forward to it...

I struggle with biopics, I am a big fan of Bob Dylan though wont watch the recent biopic, I would rather watch a documentary. I think the only biopic I own is Oliver Stones The Doors.

Kilmer was a great Jim Morrison. The movie didn't play to its strengths as showing only his drunken and drug induced side the whole time

You have 170 seconds to discover the whole plot, go...

This trailer provided me with a strong motive why not to watch the film.

Just listening to Waiting For The Sun, album, Oliver Stones direction and music were top draw, biopics tend to omit a lot.

    Not to Touch the Earth

    Genius.

The Running Man - Official Trailer #2 (2025) Glen Powell, William H. Macy, Lee Pace

I always thought the original looked cheap , and was badly directed ( by ex Starsky Paul Michael Glaser!)
    This doesn't look much better!!

I like the original The Running Man it also has a fantastic score, it is very much a film of its time, it is by no means anywhere near Arnie's best to be fair.

The new film is another attempt to make Glen Powell a star, I don't mind Powell though is in danger of being a bit one note, as Edgar Wright is directing I will give it a chance.

I like the majority of Edgar Wrights films though he has not hit the heights of Hot Fuzz again IMO, I enjoyed Worlds End mainly because that was me and my mates growing up, minus the aliens.

'Hot Fuzz'and 'Shaun of the dead' are great, The World's End, I agree with you @Fire_and_Ice_Returns , minus the aliens, it's great. Wasn't impressed with 'Baby Driver' or 'Scott Pilgrim' so anything outside his Cornetto trilogy is a pass from me!
