Obviously I watch a lot of horror movies, mostly old ones, from September onwards. Then a lot of crime fiction for #Noirvember. Same with what I read: horror from late July(!) onwards, then crime fiction.
Never watched it. Another b&w film that is fittingly autumnal is The Big Sleep. I'd watch it (or read it) for #Noirvember
70's shows like Columbo and The Bionic Woman.
Horror movies I like the Scream series and Friday 13th, I tend to ramp up watching Bond films late summer early autumn, when it comes to Bond I tend to give myself a break from the series for long periods then rewatch them fresh.
@Ludovico good shout regarding Twin Peaks I am big fan owning all 3 seasons, Fire Walk With Me and other related media. I am due a full rewatch of Twin Peaks The Return and like to watch David Lynch films this time of year.
Funny enough I watched an episode of The Incredible Hulk this morning whilst at work, it was on one of the classic channels it was the episode that often scared me as a kid when David Banner (Bill Bixby) encountered the other hulk in the The First (2 part episode).
Oh I LOVE that episode! It's like an update of Universal's Frankenstein. Genuinely scary at times. The whole series was way better than whatever they did with Hulk in the Marvel movies. They understood he was a tragic creature.
Anyway, the series in general and this episode in particular are perfect for autumn.
The Hulk TV show borrowed elements from The Fugitive which I liked, Banner was always on the run never at peace. I think the best cinema interpretation by far is Ang Lee's The Hulk there is more character development and depth in that film with some good imagery, Bruce and his father really are struggling with psychological issues in that movie.
