Great viewing though the colorization left much to be desired.

I need to give CR with Barry Nelson a rewatch been a very long time.

I watched DAF in 4K last night it was incredible, such an underrated Bond film I will do a comments on DAF soon I just wanted to watch the film on that format first without pausing. I watched AVTAK straight after I am really getting back into Bond after a long break.

THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN. Last time I watched this was during our group viewing I believe. I could be wrong.
Christopher Lee remains my all time fave actor. Bogie and Mitchum are tied for second.
    I love this Bondless PTS.

M suggests Bond resign thus calling him a wuss.

I love the subtle moment where Bond suggests finding Scaramanga first. That little reaction from M is priceless.

    Great "Bond, James Bond" reading.

    Lazar- another great scene.

Bond following Andrea. Lowery changed this scene by removing that lighting effect.

I'm comparing now with the SE DVD. That lighting effect was subtle anyway. Colors are richer on the SE DVD.

The Bond/Andrea confrontation scene. Moore as Connery.
He has some good quips here. It would've been funny to see Scaramanga perform a striptease act.

Sir Roger had some stylish double breasted suits in this one. The great Hip.

I love the bit where JW takes the walkie talkie from Bond. Goodnight's reaction is classic. :D

Bond loses his PPK under the funhouse. Love that moment.

    UGH!!!
Even as a teen, I thought that was just .... wrong. And that is one of the reasons that I've never warmed to TMWTGG.

Bond has trouble getting the Solex out. I had a similar problem this morning with the oil cap in our car. I thought the cap had broken and was stuck. I twisted it like Bond here. My wife however, quickly took the oil cap off with ease. :) She was more effective than Goodnight here. :) :) 7

Really? I thought that was one of his weakest! Just like the film I think it was a missed opportunity, he should have used the Golden Gun more as a visual motif! As for the film, always loved the first half, but it doesn't hold up the interest, and though Lee is terrific, their final showdown could have been better!

TMWTGG the series hit a brick wall and was devoid of any great ideas or weren't executed particularly well, for me its the weakest of the Guy Hamilton films,

I admit it is a little kinky...........

It's least favorite of the Guy Hamilton films, though when in the mood it hits the spot for me. For the longest time it was my least favorite in the series until a few of the later films took that spot.

Sir Roger and Sir Christopher make it worth watching, they deserved a better script. It does get farcical when Goodnights ineptness drives the plot in the final act, I would still watch TMWTGG more than most action films.

I like TMWGG. I don't think it's worse than any other Moore film.

All of them have their issues and here Moore seems to be playing Bond and not himself.

In my opinion only TSWLM and FYEO are better.

While I enjoy TMWTGG to an extent, with some good scenes, it lacks one decent action set piece to set it apart. The car chase/ jump lacks oomph! Enjoy all of Moores other Bonds just that little bit more!!

I agree mate. It was the Bond series at a crossroads. Thankfully Cubby chose the right road with TSWLM.

Golden Gun is still better than DAF and DAD though...
