I agree @Dwayne. Joanna Pettet is one of the highlights in the film.
Honestly, I never really know how to rate CR67. I enjoy it a lot, if I don't count it as a Bond film I would give it a higher rating, if I include it in the canon I can't put it any higher, because as a Bond film, well...

As always ends up happening whenever I pick up one of La-La Land’s expanded scores, I stuck OHMSS on today.

Part of me wishes they’d made this with Dalton in the title role, because I think it might’ve been the ultimate Bond movie. But another part of me realises that would also mean we wouldn’t have got Diana and Telly as Tracy and Blofeld.

Even though he was on the shortlist, Dalton admits he was too young for the role at the time! Still it was an intriguing 'What if?' for one of my favourite Bond movies, yet again I am anticipating it's watch over the forthcoming Christmas period ( apologies for mentioning the C word!!!)

Yes it is intriguing "what if" but what about Moore in the role in OHMSS?

    LICENCE TO KILL (1989)
Watched it yesterday on a sunny Sunday afternoon, always brings back memories of that Summer of '89, it was a scorcher! As is the film!! My current number 1, I love this Bond movie! Well thought out story, love that Wilson and Maibaum used a Kurosawa film, 'Yojimbo', as the basis, great characters, Dalton and Davi facing off brilliantly, even all the minor henchmen make an impression, adore Carey Lowell, what a stunner, and those crackingly original action sequences! Marvellous stuff! As a footnote, as I was enjoying Patti Labelles end theme 'If you asked me to!', and browsing the credits, I noticed 'Jewelery by Sheila GOLDFINGER!' Never copped it before! All gold I suspect? 😃

I think LTK was ahead of its time.

Agreed 100%. Belter of a (Bond) film.

I noticed that Goldfinger credit before, but then I always forget about it afterwards. It's like an ever-returning Easter egg :))

Octopussy and A View To A Kill

I decided to watch one Bond movie I could barely remember, Octopussy, and another that was at the bottom of my ranking list, AVTAK.
Octopussy was such a bore and now I remember why I don’t remember it very well. The cold open is solid and the climax is decent but everything else in between was forgettable. I just watch the movie about a week ago and I can barely remember what I watched.
For a long time A View To A Kill was at the very bottom of my list but this last viewing was so much more enjoyable. It was still a bit hard to look past Moore’s obvious older age but other than that it’s a pretty fun movie to watch.
So with that, Octopussy moves down a spot to the bottom and AVTAK moves up one being second to last.

I cant agree with you, both OP and AVTAK are great Bond entertainment.

OP-TLD is a decent run. LTK has grown on me and FYEO can be kicked off the cliff with Locque
