Saw a couple films last year that were shot by Sayombhu Mukdeeprom, and I think I'd gladly welcome his touch to Bond.

Given that Villeneuve is opting for a new cinematographer for Dune: Messiah to give it a new look (and so Fraser can do The Batman Part II), it wouldn’t shock me if he decides to work with a new cinematographer for Bond as well for the same reason instead of reuniting with Deakins, Fraser, or Sandgren.

Post this before in the Denis Villeneuve Announced as Bond 26 Director thread
With him big possible Roger Deakins (Skyfall, Prisoners, Blade Runner 2049) wil return that something i hope won't happen. I prefer a film Cinematographer. Or there will go for Bradford Young a dop who worked on Arrival and Pawn Sacrifice. Some of what he working on feels Skyfall, Spectre and QOS.

I have always dreamed of a Bond film shot by Dante Spinotti. He's still active, despite having been in this business for almost 45 years already. He has shot some of Michael Mann's best films.

Greg Frasier signed on to do the four Mendes Beatles films. So no Batman 2 or Bond 26 for him.

Not to derail the thread but, wasn't there a work on cinematography advertised at the MI6 HQ site? It was either an autobiography of a cinematographer or generally about Bond films.
    Sort

Was it this? That's the one I remember being on there.

Yeah I noticed that too. I think we should anticipate the return of Linus Sandgren.

I wouldn’t have a problem either that, the cinematography was great.

I’d be fine with him too. He’s doing Dune 3 anyway so it’d be practical. He’s connected to some Evil Knevil Damien Chazelle thing in early pre-production I guess (according to IMDB anyway, which in practice isn’t always accurate about these things, especially early stage projects, and it still seems to list Leonardo DiCaprio as the lead even though other reports say he’s not connected to it) So he potentially has a clear schedule, or at least they have an opportunity to get him. It’d bring a minor bit of continuity to the later EON era, and one thing that can be said about NTTD is it’s a very stylish film.
