Autumn Watchlist

"And as the daylight's fading
When Lammas has come in
And gleamers go to work among the stubble
There comes an autumn sickle
To cut the summer's throat
Before the season knows it is in trouble"

Martin Newell, Black Shuck

Yes, I know we're still summer, we're in early August, even, but see the quote above and in any case, planning has never hurt anyone.

So, as for my summer thread, this one is about autumn (my favourite season, incidentally): what are you planning to watch this autumn? Movies and tv series. What do you usually watch? By extension, what do you tend to read?

Well, all right, I will start.
Obviously I watch a lot of horror movies, mostly old ones, from September onwards. Then a lot of crime fiction for #Noirvember. Same with what I read: horror from late July(!) onwards, then crime fiction.

Although it spans several seasons, I love to watch “ To Kill A Mockingbird “ on a cool autumn night.

Never watched it. Another b&w film that is fittingly autumnal is The Big Sleep. I'd watch it (or read it) for #Noirvember

To Kill a Mockingbird is my all time favorite film, a classic in every sense. I’ve never seen The Big Sleep but will definitely rectify that… this fall
