Given how she's played, I find it really strange that she hasn't started every game, but I guess there's a value in having an impact player from the bench too.

She's quite a character, for sure! Being a player that looks comfortable in these decisive moments in a game is a really great quality as well.
Watching clips Sesko looks a beast.
Besides Isak, Gyökeres was my preferred striker choice for Arsenal, but you can't escape wondering how good Benjamin Šeško will become in the Prem. Could be huge signing for United if he doesn't go to Newcastle.
I am surprised he has only just turned 22, Sesko seems to be have been a round for a while now.
I hope Man United don't mess this up we are desperate, apparantly Rasmus could be going the other way in a deal? Though i have just heard the United do not need to sell to buy.
His age was one of the key factors for Arsenal's interest in Šeško. He could be a striker that can deliver over many years if it works out for him. With Gyökeres, you have a player that you need to get the best out of straight away. The same with Eze, who's also linked to Arsenal; they will be investing heavily in players that aren't there to develop into great players, but players to bring in silverware as soon as possible.
You imagine Šeško would be the no. 1 choice, so you never know. Højlund might want certainty of playing time, which might force a move away.
Makes sense getting a lower risk player at this stage of the teams development they really have to win something now.
I watched the Man United vs Bournemouth game early hours 4 - 1, a good win for United totally dominant though preseason games are never a good barometer, we definitely look quicker, more one touch passing and good movement. Neither Cunha or Mbeumo featured.
As for the striker search, Arsenal couldn't really wait any longer. They had to make a decision early in the window about who would be their man.
Who was the standout players in the game, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns? Cunha and Mbuemo would probably be a lot of FPL managers' picks alongside Bruno, but looking at other options that might deliver points could be useful too.
Dorgu looked very dangerous he got a goal and an assist, our other new LB/LWB looked good also we have good options in that area. Leon is a few years younger than Dorgu so Dorgu will be first choice I would think.
Amad looked good and scored also, his position in the team will change a lot I suspect, when Cunha and Mbeumo are starting Amad will vacate number 10 and go to RWB and be less dangerous.
I have not done anything beyond my first draft, I am going to have to watch a few FPL channels to get more of an idea of how players are being viewed.
Prerm starts 2 weeks tomorrow. :-O

Haven't done many drafts either, just switching a few players here and there. No closer to a draft I'm confident in though. As of now, most positions might change.
Arsenal lost 0-1 against Sp*rs in a friendly today. Didn't watch the game because there was nowhere I could watch it (unless paying quite a lot to watch it on the Arsenal website). From what I've seen of comments online afterwards, Arsenal were dreadful. Like, really, really bad. I can only hope it's fans overreacting, but it seems like Arsenal were playing like they did in the worst parts of the last season, unable to get to scoring opportunities…
The one thing any other team in the league would not like to see happen, is increasingly likely to happen! Liverpool with a hand on the title already by the looks of it…
I watched the Arsenal v spurs extended highlights its only pre season, spurs looked the better side and had good chances, Arsenal look a bit one dimensional.
That's the issue right now. They don't seem to have that X factor player that can give them what's missing. That's why they're heavily linked with Eze, I imagine. I'd be very surprised if Arsenal sign any more players though.
If Newcastle lands a deal for Šeško, then I imagine Isak will be a Liverpool player in a matter of days!
We need him as we have lost Jota ,sold Diaz and should be selling Darwin and Chiesa.
Arsenal are lining up an opening bid worth over £50M for Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.
The money Liverpool will make from these sales… Isak might actually be easy for them to get :))
That bid will be turned down immediately, that's for sure. Expect if Arsenal want to sign Eze, Palace won't budge on their demands. He is a player Arsenal really needs though, so there's no reason not to get this deal done. Eze is positive about a move too, according to reports. Will they get the deal done? I'm not so sure.
The left winger spot is still an issue though. Arsenal are very light there with Martinelli and Trossard – the latter whom might or might not be on the way out. I really can't see them landing a Rodrygo for example; the fee and the salary alone could be enough for them to look elsewhere – or do nothing at all, which is just as likely.
You got Cristhian Mosquera and Christian Nørgaard too, who's going to leave ?

Max Dowman looks promising and so does Rio Ngumoha for us.
Tierney and Partey has left, so has Jorginho. Meanwhile, Tomiyasu got his contract ended with the club, so Cristhian Mosquera and Christian Nørgaard are both much needed additions to the squad. There are also several others that might still leave; Nelson might be Fulham bound, and there are numerous reports suggesting Trossard might leave (as mentioned above). At this point Arsenal are certainly looking better in terms of numbers, but they still need one or two attacking players to be competitive next season.
Max Dowman looks like the next youth player to make his way into the first team. I expect he will be very protected, only seeing limited playing time – at least in the Prem, but he will be part of the squad no doubt.
I'm yet to see anything of Rio Ngumoha. If he's anything like Dowman like he's performed in pre-season, I'm sure we will see him feature next season too!

He's eligible to be called up in the Premier League and the Carabao Cup, but seemingly won't be able to play in the CL until he turns 16 in December. This is a bit unfortunate, because I think an early CL round game could have been a great way to give him some minutes.
Rio certainly does! Sterling at his best was fantastic. I still believe he has a lot to give, but he needs playing time, and the right club to give him that.
Newcastle have the money to get him almost regardless of what RB Leipzig ask for, if they sell Isak. United, having spent considerably on Cunha and Mbuemo, are not in the same situation. The downside of Watkins is his age, but he might be a good "transitional" striker, either to give Højlund more time, or to fill a gap in the squad until United find a younger striker in a few transfer windows time perhaps.
I heard that Sesko agent compared him to Messi lol
I think Watkins could give us 2 good seasons for sure and help us up the table and offer much needed experience.
Man United vs Everton 10pm UK time, Mbeumo and Cunha should start can't wait.

I would think so too. If Watkins can stay injury free for the most part, then I think he will be a good signing for United. He was apparently the third option for Arsenal, if a deal for neither Šeško or Gyökeres had been possible. I think given the circumstances Arsenal ended up with the right player. Time will tell if he is the striker Arsenal so desperately need.
I read earlier that Gyökeres had impressed in training after signing, and that he would be match ready if the PL season started now. That's a very good sign.
I like that Man united are refusing to bid until Sesko says he wants to join them, if he won't commit or selects Newcastle it avoids us getting into a bidding war and we can move on.
Gyökeres will do well, his numbers are incredible even if he scores 15 - 20 goals in the prem I see that as a success. I was checking each prem teams recruitment and to be honest right now Arsenal's looks the best, that will change if Liverpool sign Isak..
Šeško never really said he was desperate to join Arsenal either, so that's another factor in why Arsenal ended up with Gyökeres, who only wanted Arsenal. I think for both Newcastle and United, they really need the player to make up his mind about his next step.
Arsenal haven't had a 15-20 goal striker in ages, so even if his numbers drop off a bit – which they likely will – numbers like that is really good. I think he needs to deliver straight away though, because if Liverpool sign Isak, we might have a one horse race quite early.
A few have joked Sesko is just an agent trying to get as much money as possible for his current club.
Gyökeres plays off the last man he will be good for your team and a real threat, I will wait until i consider him for my team playing it safe early on.

It's been reported that Arteta might have to work a bit with his system to get the most out of Gyökeres, so unless there's clear indication of playing time and of course goals in the remainder of the pre-season, I think he, and most of the Arsenal players really, are a wait-and-see.
