    Great scene on the Skyship!
"So does anybody else wanna drop out?"
Probably the best one liner in the film!

Its well set up as initially its not obvious they are all in a blimp.

AVTAK borrows so much from GF.

    The Chinese Detective.
He was also in the opening scene of 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'

They didn't hide that fact. Michael G.Wilson did say they used the main story as its concept. Certainly better than the original storyline, getting Halleys Comet diverted!!!!

Have you been trying to find Maud Adams cameo?

    "Pola Ivanova!"
This whole scene with Fiona Fullerton is an unnecessary distraction. Seems just put in just to deliver the tape switching joke with the Chinese music!

Just watching out for it when I watch AVTAK, which admittedly, isn't very often!

Thats definitely NOT Gogol driving, when Pola gets into that car! 😅

Woman on the bus with sun glasses I always think that is Maud.

That suit Bond is wearing really looks good on him. There was a terrific publicity photo of Bond wielding a shotgun from this action scene coming up! I was expecting more from this shootout ! But lame isn't the word for it!

    Real Men don't eat Quiche!
    Bond didn't get that memo!

Bond and Stacey are on their second bottle of wine!
Me and the Missus frequently give in to that temptation! 🤪

I wouldn't mind waking up to Stacey in that outfit!
    Don't tell the wife! 😃

When getting into your car, ALWAYS check the back seat for a May Day! Tibbett and Chuck Lee didn't!

Tanya Roberts is very attractive, Tanya was great in season 5 of Charlies Angels :x

I like Stacey a lot despite screaming maybe a bit too much.

Impressive effects guys, setting fire to City Hall without damaging a brick! The Producers were so grateful for the co-operation of the Mayor and the city of San Francisco that they staged the Premiere there ! With stuntman B.J. Worth parachuting in!

Yeh, the screaming does grate a lot!!

OK, so John Glen said he always wanted to stage a car chase on the hills of San Francisco, and they've never used a fire engine before, but this set piece is played too much for laughs, and it's devoid of excitement!

My everlasting memory of this sequence, when I first saw AVTAK in the cinema, was of a lady two rows in front of me, howling with laughter at these shenanigans! Some people!

This final jump across the bridge was done for real...but you'd never think it!

One of the issues with Sir Roger's last two films way too many jokes.

And of course, we had to see the bumbling cops crashing each other's cars. Done just to amuse the lady two rows in front of me!!!

I remember the late great Barry Norman doing a location report at this sequence at the mine for his Film '85 programme on the BBC, didnt exactly get you pumped for the new film.

MayDay isn't exactly dressed for a mine, thigh high boots and a mini skirt!

Never noticed, Tanya has very striking eyes!
Apparently John Glen when first meeting her asked her were they real, Tanya looked down at her boobs and replied "Of course they are...feel them!" I do hope that story is true! 😂

The flooding of the mine is impressively done!
Much more so than a similar scene in 'Temple of Doom'

I still think MayDay should have remained loyal to Zorin, just like Oddjob in GF. And tried to stop Bond removing the bomb, it would have added much needed suspense, which the finished sequence doesn't really have!
