Been there, done that. If fans are having trouble not repeating old Bond tropes, just imagine what Heyman and Pascal are dealing with.
Why CIA at all? How about a Bond without an American connection?
Good point. It does take you out of Bond's world.
Agreed. Keep the American presence to a minimum. We pretty much only need Felix.
Craigs age. When he’s a kid, Moore is Bond. That’s the one he’s seeing around him growing up.
Also, let the composer blast the Bond theme in all its full glory in the action scenes of Bond 7's complete era... because with Craig's Bond, EON only loved playing it fully over the end credits. It worked in CR, though. Only Hans Zimmer saw the need to play it during action scenes and even at that, it wasn't done fully. But still a great take on the Bond theme by Zimmer, that really suits Craig's Bond.
Yeah. That's it.
Please not go this direction Amazon!!
I'd love to see B26 come out in 2027, But both Pascal and Heyman are also busy with Harry Potter and Spiderman. So 2028 is also very likely.
They might as well cast Ben Whishaw again in that case, since he's already associated with the role.
Yeah, I would love Whishaw back for sure, but since Craig's Bond died, I feel it might seem out of place, if Whishaw or any previous MI6 cast returns for Bond 7....so Bond 7 doesn't seem like a 00 agent, promoted to 007 and suddenly called James Bond.
Ok. Let's see how Amazon go about it, though.
Yeah, I might get it completely wrong. For all I know they'll cast Hugh Grant as M, thinking it's a funny idea.
I absolutely love Hugh Grant. I wouldn't mind that. He could be a lighter sort of M. One that really cares about Bond. Also, with an actor like Grant, Bond & M could be friends. Plus, Bond respecting M again.
True, too. Hugh Grant makes acting look so easy. He's so smooth in his delivery and mannerisms.
Boy I hope they don't do it.
Lol. I understand.
However he does have a working relationship with Heyman, so anything is possible.
He’s very charismatic and likeable so it wouldn’t be terrible to have him appear in a Bond film.
