It's a shame Lupita Nyong'o didn't do NTTD, she's a great actress and I think had they cast a more well known star in the role of Nomi they might have given her bearing on the plot.

Lashana was great but I felt sorry for her, they sold her character as a major role and in reality it was a minor supporting role at best. They shouldn't have built her up so much in the promotion

Maybe they were building hype for a spinoff.

Personally I'd rather have relatively unknowns playing Bond girls. Or semi-famous people, if that makes sense. But Nomi was half a Bond girl anyway: her and Bond were not romantically involved.

Yeah that's true, I love when they find relatively unknown actors. You never know what to expect from them. Plus they're always more versatile

Yes, I also love that, but as long as they can act of course and not being dubbed.

But that's not to say those famous actresses were bad, I still love Honor Blackman, Diana Rigg, Michelle Yeoh, and Halle Berry (despite of the material that they've given her).

Quite a few actresses I'd like to appear in James Bond have appeared in Westworld.

@Denbigh, some great choices there. Excuse me while I get re-pissed off over Westworld being denied a final season.

    What about curvier women?

I think everyone in Hollywood is too healthy, too tall and too perfect atm. It's a bit boring and bland.

Depends what you mean by curvier. I'd be happy for a Dink/Margaret Nolan kind of curvy, but would modern audiences be happy with it?

Not sure if any of these actresses have been mentioned before, but oh well...

    Mia Goth

    mia-goth-voice.jpg

I've noticed her appearing more and more in Horror films as of late (Peal, X, High Life, Suspira etc.) I can see why. She's an actress with an interesting screen presence - very etherial I guess is the best way I can describe it. Certainly got the acting chops. Can see her playing a more enigmatic Bond girl - main or supporting. Can see her as a supporting villain too quite frankly.

    Lucy Boynton

    wKNUTqAfi3QW2t2MwMotwOXKkZx.jpg

Can see her more as a Moneypenny or Loeila Ponsonby, but I've read people on this forum saying she reminds them of Eva Green. I can see it.

    Antonia Thomas

    Antonia-Thomas-by-Britney-Gill.jpg?w=620

She's done a lot of TV work, Misfits and The Good Doctor being the main examples. I can see her playing a more world weary, maybe even femme fatale Bond girl, which would be cool to see.

Worry not about others. Ladies can be lovely to behold in many different ways. Surely, though, not merely to massage the hero, make whoopee with him, and get spanked in the rear while she walks away so he can engage in "man talk."

Deepika Padukone was definitely looking like a Bond Girl at the Oscars-

She’s Norwegian, she speaks flawless English, she’s BAFTA nominated (and winner of several other awards)… I think she’d be great if they gave her something more than an eye candy role.

@sandbagger1, she was brilliant in The Worst Person In The World. I think she could make a very good Bond girl.

The Worst Person in the World is a great film, and her performance was excellent.

Though I think her greatest achievement might just be her three and a half minutes in the Criterion Collection Closet:

She makes out like a bandit,
