It's a lovely piece of work, but I'm loving the photo- it's great shot!
  • I don't suppose anyone has access to the article? Any good tidbits? I'd love to find out what the MacGuffin is, for example.

That actually IS the title. It's called INDIANA JONES AND OH FFS WHEN DO WE GET THE BLOODY TITLE.

I think it's kind of catchy.

Ford somehow hasn't aged that much in the last 14 years despite being older than dirt. I can't wait to see him make a return.

I'm guessing we'll have the trailer officially dropped next week, if we're lucky, or perhaps attached to the new Avatar in December at the latest.

Same here. I’m happy Sallah and hopefully Marion will be back.

I can't believe they've released the alternate ending of No Time To Die...

I suspect it's based on limited knowledge of the film to be honest; I would imagine it's been commissioned solely by Empire.

A part of me really wishes there had been more Indiana Jones movies back in the day, given how standalone and Bond-esque they were. However, who’s to say when the quality would have went downhill, the OG trilogy is special as it is, too. But the style of them definitely feels like there could’ve been another 1-3 movies.

Possibly, but the studio is going to have some input; without giving the story away ,I think this image does hint at an elements of the film; we do know that Indy is involved in an action scene set in New York.

The artist was probably given just enough to produce this painting, I would not be surprised if he was even show concept art. It’s not unlike Billie Eilish being given a limited amount of information on which to base their title song.

If you insist. But I think it's just Indy in a ticker tape parade in NYC, as we've already seen does happen. I'm not sure there's anything else to glean from it.

Yeah, it's hard not to watch any Ford movie from the 90s and think 'he could have done another Indy then'. And to be honest, I think even something like Minority Report has Spielberg still in Indy mode for quite a lot of it, which actually spoils the mood he's going for in that film. That car factory action scene is pure Indy, as is the jetpack action scene, which kind of has too many jokes in it for what that film is. He clearly had another in him then.

Well I’m not insisting anything, but I just feel that there is something to the strong orange and yellow light and how Indy is facing it while holding on to his hat.

The plot and ending have been leaked, and all I can say is... yikes. Of course the leaks might not be accurate, but they were for Star Wars, NuTrek, and a few other big franchises in recent years.

I'm not sure I buy the plot leaks considering they claim to be based on test screenings that haven't happened as of a few days ago. So unless there's been a screening in the last 48 hours....

These supposed leaks are just another example of how certain people think that the involvement of an actress like Phoebe Waller-Bridge is incredibly "woke" because stupidly we now live in an age where even trying to cast a minority is based on an agenda as opposed to creating interesting characters and stories.

To use an analogy, they're feeding themselves lies because they've got no other way of eating when it comes to Indiana Jones. All they have to go on is her casting, nothing else, so to stir the pot online they create this "leak" to cause the outbursts involving a bunch of people writing "woke" because they just love those four little words.

I don't think the leaks are fake. For one, James Mangold went out of his way to shoot them down on twitter, which actually lends credence to them, just like how JJ Abrams did with Trek and SW, whose leaks were proven accurate. Lucasfilm always had a huge problem with leaks, it was one of the things that led to so much negativity over RoS before it was even released.

Secondly, the Indy 5 leaks are in keeping with the narrative pattern seen in other franchises like Bond, Star Wars, Star Trek, Logan (also directed by Mangold), and others. And this is Kathleen Kennedy we're talking about here.

I'm not a huge Indiana Jones fan myself, so it doesn't matter that much to me either way. If the leaks are accurate, though, I can definitely envision a lot of extremely angry fans.

As far as the “leaks” go, I can see whatever. Didn’t Christoph Waltz flat out lie about being Blofeld amidst the leaks? No reason to believe anything necessarily until the product is seen. The supposed leaked ending does sound horrible and stale for sure. We’ll see.

During production of Temple of Doom, Lucas said he had planned six movies, and had the basic storylines for them all.

I bet they haven’t. Just made up by incredibly unreliable people who want you to be angry about women.
Did they say that Mikkleson is Toht and Waller-Bridge is Marcus’ daughter? Bit of a clue of limited imaginations there.

Mikkelsen's character is Voller, not Toht. Don't believe the made-up rumours.
