It's me. I'm the moron who's bought it three times. I didn't cave on those GTA V re-releases but I did here. Silly me.

At this rate, they might as well forego another Elder Scrolls and scrap all plans for Fallout 5 and just keep churning these out every couple of years, since there are clearly fools like myself who will keep buying them.

I just saw this pop up on Netflix and didn't know they were doing a scattered, daily release for the rest of the episodes. That's pretty cool, not something you see them do all that often. I'm surprised they haven't pushed for that approach more often.

Having not had Netflix for some time I know little about the upcoming shows though I am a fan of Del Toro, certainly his early films.

I saw the first couple of episodes last night. Entertaining enough, not great. I think there are eight episodes in total, and a new director each time. GDT is producer/presenterfor the whole thing.

    Similar to Alfred Hitchcock Presents?

I have leave next month I plan to get Netflix when off and will catch up on all the shows I missed over the last year or so.

Yes, you can say that. He also has a writing credit on two or three episodes.

I never got past the first episode of JACK RYAN, maybe I should give it another go. I have the film versions, though not watched Shadow Recruit all the way through that film felt much weaker than the others.

I would. The series is much better than Shadow Recruit and Sum of All Fears. It's not quite on par with the Ford films but for a TV series that plays out like a long movie, it's really good. Season 1 takes a few episodes to get going but once you get about halfway through, it really takes off.

Season 2 is a soft remake of Clear and Present Danger

I will have another look, the first three movies were excellent the first one is probably my favorite for obvious reasons though I liked the tone of the two Ford films. I am a huge fan of 24 no show has really replaced it in the genre for me, saying that Jack Reacher was an excellent first season.

I thought S2 was a lot stronger, especially that ending. I hope S3 rocks, there's been a surprising lack of marketing for it before this trailer.

Just watching an episode of Foyle's War and, apart from Michael Kitchen as Foyle, there's Christina Cole, the receptionist from CR. It was written by Anthony Horowitz, too. I never saw these when they were first shown, but it's not too bad for this time of night.

    CITADEL Trailer 2 (2023)

Potential Bond audition? As for the show looks a bit rough with the cgi.

I still need to see the third season. I enjoyed the first two, especially that bombastic ending of S2.

Season 3 is kind of a let down. Too many moving pieces with characters that all look and sound the same. This one looks much better.

Thanks for that. I'll get around to it eventually but doesn't seem like I need to rush into it then.

I still need to see the newest season of The Righteous Gemstones too. I've really fallen behind on TV lately, prioritizing films and games over it. I did watch the final season of Barry week-to-week though.
