I'm only upset they didn't ask him about The Matador in the video because it seems to be Brosnan's favorite role of his (and also my second favorite behind Bond).

Yeah, but to be honest, once I see Brosnan on screen, I simply watch him. Just love seeing the guy.

Oh yeah, you and I both. He's the only reason I'll inevitably see that Black Adam movie (and the only reason I sat through Cinderella or Percy Jackson, etc. etc.)

Exactly! I don't think I would have been able to watch a film like Grey Owl if it weren't for Brosnan.

It seems Brosnan also doesn't know what to make of NTTD.

I wish there were more detailed thoughts, but I can understand he doesn't want to discuss negative aspects in depth.

Yeah, me too @mattjoes but he didn't want to discuss it further, which is fine.

Funnily, he wasn’t shy about his thoughts regarding SPECTRE.

Based on the phrasing of the quote there, I actually think it's SPECTRE he's referring to and not NTTD. The article is just (understandably) assuming otherwise.

Brosnan was a star before he ever made a film. Born to it. As someone on here said once: 'What a dude!'

I think he just loves movies so much that he prefers to see in widescreen :D

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but as you probably know, Pierce Brosnan is in The Last Rifleman. It also turns out that Michael Caine is in a film titled The Great Escaper, which appers to be inspired by the same real-life event as The Last Rifleman, about the veteran who escapes his care home to attend the D-Day anniversary.

So Brosnan vs. Caine, once again. Thirty five years after The Fourth Protocol.

Visiting Ulster Aviation Society while filming The Last Rifleman. Unexpected collision of two of my interests!

Anyone seen "The Old Man" streaming on Disney. No spoilers but it centres around an ex agent/spy in their late sixties/early seventies who retied 30/40 years ago, took on a new identity and is struggling to deal with the death of his with and potentially losing contact with his daugher. I'm into episode 3 and it really is a cracking drama/thriller. Given the background of the central character, I can't help thinking, what a wonderful role it would have been for PB...

Has his accent changed? I'm not sure into what(!) but it seems different. Fallon is very annoying isn't he.

Insufferable, but doesn't hold a candle to Corden. Then again, as an American, I can't stand any of these late night shows or hosts really.

Yeah, Fallon couldn't have simped much harder if he'd trained for it, eh! He seemed genuine about it, though, and he did have Brosnan right in front of him so it was hard to keep the inner fanboy in check, I guess. But, yes, that's some odd accent that Pierce was slipping in and out of. The disconnect between looking at Brosnan and not hearing Bond's voice took a bit of getting used to there. I wish Dan hadn't worn a double-breasted jacket with wide lapels to the NTTD premiere, though - they're spreading...

To be fair Conan O Brien is pretty good (although I guess he's off late night TV now?)

Not American, but having seen many clips (and lived in countries in my youth where these late night shows were transmitted) they do seem a bit naff sometimes. I'm glad we've got Graham Norton here and even Jonathon Wossy. And yes, I'm glad we've dumped Cordon onto you guys (even if Gavin and Stacy is rather entertaining, but that's probably in large part due to Ruth Jones).

Y'know, I thought it was just me that literally couldn't watch Corden for 20 seconds without wanting to give him a slap - glad to know there's wider loathing out there for him! :D

I'd actually agree, I somehow forgot about Conan. He doesn't come across as fake to me and usually buys into the shenanigans and riffs from his guests. I love the clips of him and Norm Macdonald together on the show. His appearances always led to comedy gold.

Early reactions for Black Adam describe Brosnan as a "scene-stealer" with a "standout performance."
