Has anyone seen this? By the same people that made Goldfinger 64. I would love to play it on my Nintendo 64.

I think with an Everdrive, you can play things like this on the original hardware. I could be wrong though.

I'm not a gamer anymore, but I'd love to give this a try!

A little side note: I really enjoyed playing the FRWL game back when it came out. It's a shame we never got a similar treatment with one of the Roger Moore films – voiced by the great man himself of course.
  • I had seen this before. Wish they would create these for all of the films and more importantly that they could be released for anyone to play. The levels feel a bit empty and either sparsely designed or lighted by comparison with GE N64, but then this is one person making this on their own and not a team devoting more than a year to making a game. It's impressive what they accomplished.

I was looking at this mod just last week. When I have time, I'll give it a shot. I didn't bother with Goldfinger 64 because it seemed like some levels were kind of unfinished (and I believe I read something along those lines), and because I didn't like the music. This TSWLM mod has much better music and looks better. The video says there's a 3-level demo available now. The full mod should come at some point in the future.

Somebody was also making a TND 64 mod. It's on YouTube.

This is so awesome. Getting something like this for all the films would be sublime. I need to play this. I don't get how these mods work for all the GE variations I see, are they just ones you can download on PC and play for yourself or something else?

To use the mod, a rom of GE64 has to be patched using a computer program. Then the modified GE64 rom (containing TSWLM) can be played in an emulator, and theoretically, perhaps even the N64 console itself, provided there's a means of getting it to read the game (I don't know how that's done).

I understand GE64 supports network play under an emulator, so that might be true for TSWLM as well. I haven't tried it myself.

It's all very confusing to me but the idea is exciting. I've been watching a good bit of that gameplay since the thread popped up. Thanks for the info, @mattjoes!

If we get more mods along the way, it’ll probably be just the iconic films first. GF and TSWLM certainly qualify for Connery and Moore. Craig’s would probably be CR, OHMSS no doubt for Lazenby, and for Dalton I think it would have to be LTK as that feels like it could translate to a game easier than TLD.

Remember seeing this one earlier, pretty cool stuff. It's criminal that half of the Bond actors still haven't got an official proper 3D video game. There is sooo much you could do with these adventures. Between eras really would be the only time to do it (e.g. FRWL05). Like now.
