I feel it's best to maybe pick a random film and do a small marathon over the course of a week.. For example, I started with FYEO, realized that I still hate it and went promptly to Octopussy, AVTAK, now I'm about halfway into TLD. I will probably stop after that.
  • Oddly Licence to Kill and The Man With The Golden Gun. They aren’t movies in my Top 10 Rankings, but very enjoyable and easy to watch. Heck I even find the Barry Nelson Casino Royale TV special oddly captivating that I go and watch it as a background to something else I may be doing.

The Casino Royale TV special is a surprising easy watch, short, concise and exciting, though Barry is a bit off putting, not my idea of Bond!

Agreed, I think they should’ve had Michael Pate playing Bond, and Barry Nelson playing Leiter. Pate was much more an appropriate choice for the role, even somewhat matches Fleming’s description for Bond than Nelson.

It depends on the time of day.

    Morning / early afternoon:
    TMWTGG
    TSWLM
    SF
    CR
    TWINE

    Late Afternoon:
    DAF
    LTK
    GF
    OHMSS
    QoS

    Early Evening:
    TB
    SP
    LALD
    NTTD
    FRWL

Late Night (with a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and a glass of milk):
    AVTAK
    YOLT
    OP
    DN
    TLD

In terms of the Bond films I watch most often it would have to be these five:

    - You Only Live Twice. Not even remotely the best Connery Bond film but it's an easy watch with perfect atmosphere.
    - A View To A Kill. Just a very harmless film that offers nostalgia.
    - The Living Daylights. A top 3 entry so I always find myself choosing this one.
    - Casino Royale. My favorite and it simply refuses to get old no matter how often I watch it. Usually I get an itch every few months to see it again.
    - Quantum of Solace. I don't watch it back-to-back with Casino Royale yet I find it enjoyable and short enough that I can't get tired of it. Due to it's length it has a high density of 'bumps' as Cubby would say.

Watching CR in the morning would wreck me for the rest of the day.
  • Yeah neither CR or SF would be morning watches for me. The more serious/emotionally heavy the film is the later I will want to watch it. The goofiest ones are perfect “Saturday morning matinee” material.

The few most re-watchable Bond films ? I must admit - I am not qualified to answer this query. I've seen none of the Bond films more than, say, 12 to 15 times, so I am just not qualified to answer this one.
