    The Silence of the Lambs?
  • This is embarrassing but I think I know

Saw it on it's release about 20 years ago and it's Alan Rickman in Prince Of Thieves

Robin Hood (POT) movie I mean, I'm quite sure that's the answer

It's just one of those lines in movies that you remember

Nothing embarrassing about it at all (at least, to my mind) - Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves is like a medieval Bond movie. It's awesome stuff. ;)

Yes, anyway, you're right, of course, take it away, @Baltimore_007...
  • what do I do, state a line from a Movie, regardless of Bond, this covers a lot of ground :-S

Let's cut to the chase and go with

'I'll play your game afterwards, if I'm still standing, but I may not be, because you're a big man, a big tough man and you've got big balls, so let's go Mister Big Balls'

ps This has NOTHING to do with Casino Royale so think somewhere else

    :-L

    Is this correct Baltimore_007 ?
  • Yes it was Seagal in what could be the most lame and absurd movie of the 1990s, On Deadly Ground, I strongly urge everyone should watch this at least once in their lifetimes just to see how embarrassingly ridiculous this piece of film is. What's even more shocking perhaps, is that I actually own a copy :-/

I have to bump this. It's too good of a thread to let pass by.

Isn't that the ending of 'Spider-Man 2,' I want to say? Haven't seen any Spider-Man film in quite some time.

Indeed, I am watching it right now, and it has cemented itself further as one of my favorite films. It is so deep, and really makes you look over your own choices and responsibilities. I caught it a little too late, so I will have to watch it fully soon.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I managed to catch 2 and 3 in theaters. Unfortunately, I don't recall liking the third whatsoever: saw it on my birthday, too. I remember really loving the first two, though.

I just pretend 3 never happened. It was an abortive mess that went back on the relationships of 2 and was essentially Sam Raimi being forced to do what Paramount wanted in regards to the story. A damn shame.

As for that quote, I get a Clint Eastwood vibe from it...

I'm fairly sure it's from a John Carpenter film. Studied a few of them in college, and I can't for the life of me remember which one it is.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, all I remember from the movie is
Maguire in a sort of emo scene, walking down the streets and going to bars, or something to that effect. I've stolen a page from Dr. Watson's book and repressed that memory.

@CraigMooreOHMSS, you are correct thus far, it's a John Carpenter film.

That's correct, uttered by Kurt Russell as RJ MacReady. Over to you.

I'll guess an older film, which slightly narrows it down, possibly Monroe, since you're a big fan of hers.

I'm kicking myself for not seeing more of her films. 'Some Like It Hot'?

I actually remember seeing something the other day and those very words were mentioned, but there must be dozens of examples of it, but we are looking for one specific time of course. It's said by a female character I'm sure of it, but I've just hit a blank now.. I know this damn it..
