It's on YouTube now, does that make it easier?

    Yes.. it does
  • Ouch, Blofeld looks brutal without that right eye! I don't remember a Fleming novel with as many disfigured villains as No Time To Die! Safin, Blofeld, Primo - all victims of some facial/eye mishaps!

Someone mentioned that Blofeld would've had a bionic eye but since he looks like he will stay the entire time in prison I can't figure it out.

It would be cool if Primo's bionic eye will serve as Blofeld's eyes on the world even if he's imprisoned.

I hear ya, but how could that work ? This his imprisoners would provide him with a new replacement fake eye ? At all ? Much less one which connects with folks outside ? Surely he's been scanned for any implants in his villainous brain and body ? I get what you're going for, but there's been no indications that Blofeld gets out. And THAT would be far too similar to what happened with Silva in SF. "Doh ! We let another one get out !" This would be like Blofeld having someone send him a cake with a file in it. Or like John Dillinger making a fake pistol from a bar of soap - which really happened but let's move on from that.

That's awesome. I like that he's ending his run how he began: with the Royal Navy in London! Only it's gone well this time :D

Not quite. In the books and films, Bond was an actual Commander, not honorary.

Not quite: he had a fictional rank of Commander, whereas Craig's is honorary and real, which is one better.
    ;;)

That article is worth a read actually; there's even a bit about one of the locations the film is set in, which I'm not sure we knew before. And Commander Craig even got to meet Lieutenant Commander Bond! :)

Incidentally, Admiral Radakin there has the same role that Graham Crowden played in For Your Eyes Only :)

With apologies to those among us who may be sight-impaired...

Roger Moore's and Pierce Brosnan's Bonds could have had some fun with it - though neither never got to enunciate the word "Blofeld" in their films:

"Blofeld, you must face the facts !" (just warming up with this one...here we go)
"Keep your eye on the ball...no, your other eye."
"Do you see what I'm getting at ?"

Oh, this list can go on and on. Where are the former screenwriters when they're needed ? PWB does have a wicked sense of humor, though, and just because she and the producers finally have realized that it's worth seeking the money from at least half their potential audience, doesn't mean she's not already displayed a w i c k e d sense of humor in other productions !

"I see what you mean, Blofeld. (pause) Better than you can, for that matter."
"Blofeld, do you perceive the depth of this situation ? Oh...yes, well - of course not."

RM and PB would get sore eyebrows from arching it in the many feasible takes of such scenes !

ON further reflection: I think that the scenes with Primo and his amazing eye occur well before the present...still, they would be AFTER Blofeld was captured at the end of SP, right ?

I assumed OP meant Craig's announcement as Bond in 2005.

Yes indeed: it's a good way of bookending his run, don't you think? :)

EDIT: Skip to 4m 30s if you can't be bothered listening to the preamble before they interview DC.

It's not live. It's pre-recorded. I meant live as in, "gone live", just been released now. For those abroad from the UK you have to wait for the highlights on YouTube. Or try and VPN it but I don't know if iPlayer/Sounds will let you.

Decent interview. Nothing too revealing and not many things we haven't heard before. Good if you have a spare twenty minutes if you skip the preamble :).

I’m super proud to look back on 16 years of working with #danielcraig on #bond and present in partnership with @007 a limited edition set of my photos to celebrate his tenure. From his original screen test through to No Time To Die, these 25 photographs are some of my absolute favourites.

Prints can be purchased now for the first time

Most of us can’t afford it, sadly. Just like the other products from brands such as Omega, NPeal, Sunspeal, Danner, Crockett & Jones, Connoly, Land Rover, Globe-Trotter…
