  The new Iron Maiden album Senjutsu. Didn’t think it was as great as the golden era (first album through Seventh Son), but probably my favorite release since then. Lots of good tracks, found it much more unique and engaging than Book of Souls.

  I got the same idea @FoxRox. Several recent great releases I discovered dating to the past 24 months or so.
  

  • The Who (my favorites "Ball and Chain" remaking "Guantanamo", "Hero Ground Zero", "Break the News").
  • The Pretenders and Chrissy Hynde ("Hate for Sale", "The Buzz", "Lightning Man", "You Can't Hurt a Fool", "Maybe Love Is in NYC", "Didn't Want to Be This Lonely", "Crying in Public").
  • Midnight Oil ("First Nation", "Gadigal Land", "Terror Australia", "Wind in My Head").

  There are probably so many more. So good and driving home the point it's what they do so well.
