NTTD heads to theaters as infection rates go up. Interesting times ahead. The Maserati logo removal may have a bit to do with promotional partners not wanting competition. I love the simplicity of "Bond Is Back" as well, nothing else needs to be said.

Even if this isn't the best Bond film, it will almost certainly be the most cathartic.

Truer words have never been spoken, my friend.

Yeah there’s a few new additional shots in there.

It's been around since last September, it came out as the Asia/Pacific Trailer 2
  • Yup, the international trailer, which came out last September. It's a shame that it was massively overshadowed by Trailer 2, I think it's the best trailer for the film second maybe to the one that came out when Billie's theme was released.

I guess if there was one good thing about Black Widow, it could have helped its audience get ready for Bond, with its references. It did slightly take a bullet for him.

Why does Google say NTTD is 2hrs 54min long? Do we know where it gets its info from?

What do you mean? I simply wrote that I would not be okay with a 6th delay. What prompted you to ask that question after such an innocent, non-controversial statement?

I was worried that you meant you might not make it to the release of a further-delayed NTTD, like you were ill or something.
When I said it was a genuine question I meant it.

F9 crossing $600m undoubtedly convinced MGM/Universal to stick with the October release. Hope it works out.

Sorry to wade in but asking if 'you are ok, genuine question" in no way suggests your comment was controversial. It was merely enquiring if you were alright. Sometimes people on social media/forums are trying to be nice.

I thought it’s been known for a while that it was pretty long.

I have a question. We actually don't know if Nomi takes over code number 007 while Bond is gone, right? Only vague hinting back and forth by Lashana in interviews and in trailers with Bond saying something like "are you an double O?"

Then I came to think of Spectre. I don't remember the scene but some character mentioned briefly that 009 is an active agent but didn't reveal who that might be.

Could she be 009 after all?

I know it was used in Octopussy when that agent (stuntman Andy Bradford) gets killed by the knife-throwing twin assassins Mischka and Grishka.

The floor is now open for debate..

    Yes, 2 H 43 min, not 2 54 all of a sudden

She says she's been a Double-O for only two years though.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the runtime changed… how could that much time go by without tinkering with the final edit? (I know this contradicts what Fukunaga said, but I’m doubting they just left everything as is for a year and a half).

Unlikely. Cary has moved on to other things. Eon would be reluctant to sink more money into this film.

The scene in question is Q explaining to Bond that the DB10 was originally meant for him, but had been reassigned to 009. There’s another scene that takes place the following morning between Q and one of his assistants and I believe they refer to 009 as he or him, but I could be wrong about that.

Guys google is frequently incorrect on running times. Try checking it for other films. I remember when Spectre came out google said it was 2:35. The correct running time for NTTD is still 2:43

Maybe a track from Zimmer's score is next.

Oh man, that's right. If the podcast starts up again and marketing intensifies, we'll get teasers of his score.

Yeah. Zimmer & Marr will BONDIFY our ears soon :)>-

    Cannot. Wait.

    Absolutely :)

I am still giddy over the fact that Johnny Marr is on this soundtrack.

Yeah pretty sure Google has had that incorrect runtime for NTTD for a while now. 163 mins is the correct one indeed.

Yeah I think I have a memory of us being here before. I’m curious where they get it from.

Yeah. Marr's inclusion is golden. And the thought that it's going to be guitar-laden score makes me giddy as well :)
