IF the film will stick to its late 2021 release date, the last Craig Bond film will come out exactly 50 years after the last (EoN) Connery Bond film.

And almost exactly 16 years after Craig was announced as Bond.

Nobody has posted anything to this thread for about 24 hours. Is that a first? I guess I'm changing that. LOL

Not surprised the fan enthusiasm is dying off, given the film won't be out this year most likely.

I just wonder if people will still remember anything to do with SP by the time Bond 25 comes around.

I wouldn't worry too much @Mendes4Lyfe Bond films are global bums on seats films.
The press, the public, everyone gets on board. Generally films don't dwell too much on previous films in case people haven't seen them or it's been a while between films.
I don't think people have lost interest. There's only so much to say, and with another delay, it has to be expected.

It would be nice if theaters did a SPECTRE/NTTD tandem showing for the sake of continuity. Plus, it wouldn’t be a bad idea in helping theaters earn a bit more change.

Will not happen, because both movies have different distributors.
Even when SF and SP both had SONY distribute it, there were no double features. Same with CR and QOS.

And in the end the theatres are not allowed to decide by themselves.
It looks like EON doesn't like Double-Fearures.

Right before the shutdown FATHOM did a Spy Who Loved Me/For Your Eyes Only double feature.; a SP / NTTD double feature is viable.

I can imagine everyone being so bored by SP they end up sleeping thru Bond 25 and missing it!

Truthfully, the only reason that I would again watch SP would be to see it as a lead in for NTTD ; like it or not, the two films are linked.

I had tickets to the Daniel Craig marathon last April, which was going to lead in to the premier for NTTD. It appears some chains are still planning to do this in October: https://www.regmovies.com/movies/no-time-to-die-marathon/ho00010568#/

Its not impossible. During the run up to the initial April 2020 release, Odeon invited members to vote for the top two Bond films they would like to see on the big screen prior to the movie. All were selectable, I think mine voted for CR and SF.

He’s a fine actor, but their are many more; I know there’s precedent, but Craig’s era is self contained, the next incarnation should have an entirely new cast.

I want Fiennes back. If Judi Dench is allowed, at the last minute, Fiennes should be allowed to continue as well.

I more or less agree with you, but I do hope they keep Fiennes on as M. He really evokes Lee IMO. I also wouldn't mind if they kept Harris, as she and Fiennes are a good team.

A new Q would be good, as I think Whishaw is a very Craig-era choice. And for God's sake, they absolutely must recast Tanner.

cary_fukunaga I don’t post much, so I’m very late in this thank you to @officialtriumph Lee Morrison (stunts master wizard) Chris Cheetham, Adam VanderVeen and @triumphofwestchester for hooking us up with the newest #tiger900 for our trek on the #NEBDR last summer. Apologies for bringing it home without a windshield and basically totaled, the route was wet and gnarly and I maybe flipped it a few times. But it got me round trip with a major smile on my face despite the brushes with near death

I am hopeful that Cary will someday return to the Bond franchise. He is very cool and seems to have translated that cool into the film.

I’d rather Whishaw and Harris stay on for future movies. Whilst Fiennes is a fine actor of high caliber in other movies, I find him to be dreadfully dull as M.

For those wanting a clean slate slate for the next Bond, they need to remember Casino Royale had quite a few returning Bond family members: Martin Campbell, Purvis and Wade, and Judi Dench, just to name a few. And it was a reboot. Goldeneye had even less: Desmond Llewelyn, Joe Don Baker and Michael G Wilson. Why shouldn't can't the MI6 regulars of Daniel Craig's era get a second chance? It sounds a bit hypocritical not to give them a chance.

Lee Morrison, stunt co-ordinator, spilled the beans about a Norway stunt:

What was the most challenging motorcycle stunt scene?

“Well for the Tiger, and remember these are stunt professionals, it was probably when we were riding them at high speeds and bouncing off the sides of cars during the Norway chase scene! It was amazing being able to ride behind and direct my lead stunt rider, constantly telling him to get in there, I want you alongside ‘Bond’, hitting the side of his door, cutting behind. There was a point where we jumped the Tiger over a car and under a helicopter. To have the confidence in a motorcycle to do all those things, on the move, while directing through an earpiece shows you how good that bike is.”

The balls of steel it takes to ride a motorcycle over a car and under a helicopter. Looking forward to seeing that in the finished film.

Have you guys seen this Heineken ad with Craig? Uploaded two weeks ago. Must be a pen-reference to Alan Cumming's character Boris Ivanovih Grishenko in GoldenEye? Some twitter guy explained:

The gag is that the people are confusing Craig for Bond. They think if he clicks the pen again, then the bomb will go off. But he's oblivious to it.
