The new Diver 007 Edition with the titanium mesh now costs 9200€. Not 8800€ anymore.

And it'll keep on rising, I suppose. These things gain value as they gain minutes ;)

Yes because of the recent price increase from Omega since September. All the prices of the watches in the current catalogue has been increased, not just the NTTD watch.

In September the 007 Edition costed 8800€. How often do they increase the price of all the pieces? When I bought the Seamaster 300 4 years ago the official price was 5600€ and now is out at 6200€.

From what I've noticed over the years, the price increase happens every 3 to 4 years. But it varies. Really tough to say. The most recent one being the September price increase for this year. I guess it was gradual and by this month, all the price of the watches would've been increased already. Prior to the increase in September, it was already being discussed over at the Omega forums https://omegaforums.net/threads/sept-1-6-price-hike-real.118398/

Glad I bought my Seamaster 300 in January before the price increase.

I see. Yeah good timing. Luckily I bought the 007 Edition before the increase too. Back in 2016 I was good too I made quite a deal for the Seamaster 300. I bought it in an official Omega seller jewelry at 4800€ instead of 5600€. With the 007 Edition there was no room for discussion.

@Univex Sure thing. Maybe not so much blueprints, but some fun illustrated gadget pics from the magazine, and a cool one of the beautiful Seamaster 300 ST from 1967, as discussed on this thread one page back:

Here's the 2021 restyling of the Seamaster 300.
Well, the seconds hand (lollipop) is misplaced and a total dealbreaker for me. I'm not even a fan of the return of the vintage numerals and no ceramic bezel is a miss. The new domed sapphire crystal is cool, on the other hand. Anyway I overall prefer the 2014 design.

Yes the face seems a bit busy suddenly. Are the numerals bigger?

Agreed. The 2014 one is just stunning especially with the liquidmetal ceramic bezel. That new one is an easy pass.

Compared to the Rolex hulk, the green SMP has a very subtle green which can look almost black depending on the lighting. A unique colourway from Omega.

I've owned an Omega for a long time (far longer than it's association with 007). It's 1970s vintage, automatic, silver face with date and black strap.

I've only had it serviced once. It runs as well as the day I bought it. Unfortunately I can't post a picture.

Perhaps, as an alternative to a 'replica' it might be an idea to buy a vintage watch. I believe they can be had for just a few hundred pounds. If I remember correctly mine cost about £350, but that was way back.

Style wise mine looks like the one in the link (but the date is at 3 o'clock).

I'm jealous of everyone here who has an Omega. My favourite of the Bond Omegas is the PO from Skyfall... beautiful.
