    Help!

what is this character ?! :((

I've been thinking all kinds of things from Jack Wade to Whitaker to Anders but can't find a definitive answer, this is most frustrating, someone else have a shot etc ?

another clue again would be most welcome @RC7

I've been trying to figure this out with no luck. You've got me and I'm beginning to wonder if my knowledge of the films is lacking.

I've tried asking for another pointer but to no avail

I've gone through all different characters by the same actor/actress etc as stated, to narrow it down as with other clues but still no nearer an answer, this is becoming damn frustrating now

Could it be Captain Carter, Shane Rimmer's character in The Spy Who Loved Me?

He was in three Bond films.

I already mentioned that Samuel about two weeks ago - it wasn't him

I added up all the clues and thought also it was Kronsteen (Sheybal) , he was also in Casino Royale, but RC7 insists it wasn't him either ?

I'm eager to know what this damn thing is etc

Would you like me to reveal who it is?
    Ah there you are

No, it's not at that stage, but another clue would be a great help

This will be done, will just take a bit of time, there's no sense in revealing the answer just yet

    what were the clues again

#1 I am very skilled in what I do

    #2 I have a great accuracy

#3 This is not my first Bond film, but it is as this character

#4 My boss bows to my frustration

#5 I am responsible for this films plot device

So it's not Kronsteen, Miss Anders, Whitaker, Wade, Carter, any senior MI6 figure etc

Still no nearer to it....... @-)

I've tried to be quite specific in how I've written the clues.

@Baltimore_007 When I say 2) Accuracy is key - it doesn't necessarily mean I am or I am not accurate, it means accuracy is central to what I do.

Likewise 3) this is not my only Bond film, but it is as this character. I didn't say it's not my first Bond film just not my only.

    1) I am very skilled at my profession.
    2) Accuracy is key.
    3) My role is small, but large in context.
    4) My boss bows to my frustration.
    5) This is not my only Bond film, but it is as this character.
    6) I am responsible for this film's McGuffin.
    7) I have no contact with Bond.

If I am allowed, could I make a second guess?
Could it be Morzeny, the man who trained Grant?
I was thinking Morzeny (Gottell) before, and it's a very good pick you would agree, but sure it's been said already

I'm just primarily thinking of any and all Bond characters that have appeared in different releases by the same actor/actress, and narrowing it down, it seems like a good place to start, this is a damn tough guess the character round

Whoever gets this eventually deserves a dozen gold stars (*) (*) (*)

Is it the asian guy that worked with Goldfinger?

He's present when Bond is on the laser table, but the two don't speak. He's responsible for the Bomb placed in Fort Knox that is Bond's eventual goal (the Macguffin) I think I've read he was in another film, perhaps DN or YOLT. It's a small role in GF, and he's skilled enough to make a nuke. Haha, not sure about 3.

That was Mister Ling, the red Chinese Agent

and lo and behold - that was mentioned before - and was incorrect

In any event, will make a move - got a Bond film to watch.. =:)

    No Lie...

I was even thinking the radio operator at the start of Doctor No who gets killed by the three intruders then realized soon after it couldn't possibly be her

I'm concentrating on same actor/different characters and now... No contact with Bond... this is damn difficult :-S

Is it the pigeon out of Moonraker, or one of Drax's dobermans.. no let's be serious

Is it the head of Spectre in From Russia with love, he never meets Bond

Hector Lopez out of License to Kill?

could be here all night with this..

I don't know what it is, could be a little green man eating twinkies on Neptune for all I know...

    Goodnight 8-|

I don't think this is the answer but I think it's interesting that this actor had two memorable deaths:

    ANTHONY CHIN
Decontamination Technician in Dr No (uncredited), Goldfinger's waiter in Goldfinger (uncredited), uncredited SPECTRE guard in You Only Live Twice (the one Bond shoots with his cigarette), Taiwanese Tycoon in A View To A Kill (the one who drops out).

I'm genuinely surprised no one has it yet. But, I'm convinced someone will get it. It's not as obscure as a couple of the guesses.

Is it Lenkin - the chap in charge of the Faberge Eggs at the Kremlin Art Depository in OP? The actor who plays him was also in TLD as the gas pipeline supervisor.

A really good one, I didn't think of him, I think you must have had it right!

    Hats off to Mr Cipher

You should be Guess The Character Cracker #1

and a mention to RC7 too for a most fiendishly difficult and frustrating character round

It's a bit of a relief this has been finally solved..

Thanks RC7. That was quite a round - "fiendishly difficult and frustrating" sums it up perfectly.

    On with the show:
    1. Bond and I have a lot in common
    2. I'm the silent type

It isn't Red or Ms Smythe.

    3. Bond and I make a bit of a mess
