I believe the thinking was that, in the event of someone posting something they oughtn't, they then wouldn't be able to delete the post and remove the evidence, ensuring there'd always be evidence available for the mods and admins to study so they'd be able to take suitable action.

Frankly, I personally don't see how it's a huge deal - you can still edit any post up to 24 hours after you make it.

Anyway, back to the game... ;)

I have a question that troubled me the all day. I always thought I would never forget a quote, but I can recall the origine of this quote. please help me people.

    Who said and when :

"Ah Mister Bond, I've been expecting you".

I know, I should be ashame not to remember, but I won't be able to sleep without knowing ^^

I believe it was only actually used by Carl Stromberg in TSWLM, just before he tries to dispatch Bond with his trap door elevator in Atlantis.
  • Yeah, 'twas only in TSWLM

I've checked it out to be sure, and you're right. The correct quote is "Good Evening Mister Bond, I was expecting you" and not even directly to Bond but vie the radio.

So the popular belief of a Blofeld type saying "I've been expecting you" is incorrect... Interesting...
