My opinion about 9/11 will not be appreciated, so I'll keep it to myself.

I'll only say this: America needed a new enemy.

Well we have gotten a lot of people mad at us since then. Worse of all, we’re mad at each other, nonstop. I apologize to other countries for the current state of the world. My government has been stupid and corrupt for a long time.

I watched "The Lost Tapes" documentary again and it is just remarkable viewing. No matter how many times you watch the planes hit the towers, part of your brain struggles to take it in. The enormity of the event. I was lucky enough to have visited The Windows of the World a couple of months before the attack so it adds perspective.

Talking of Windows on the World, I got this great book for my birthday. It's great for someone like me who never got to experience it.

9/11: How President George W Bush and the US government responded to the terrorist attacks - BBC News, 10 September 2021:

It's the 20th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks today. Remembering all of those who lost their lives or were injured on that day and those that have lost their lives as a result of that day in the years since. The day our world changed forever.

The ones on the BBC this year for the 20th Anniversary of the attacks were very good.

Had it been me id evacuate 2nd tower after the first tower was hit , commercial airline/not a small plane , crashing like that (straight into a tower ?) would make me suspicious , i would prolly think it was deliberate
