That is one big head, would have made a great poster if Lazenby returned for DAF, father in law-son in law taking revenge for Tracy. I always wondered what happened to Draco?

Bond fan art by Swedish illustrator/designer, Jonas Bergstrand. Brilliant stuff!

Sketches I hope to work more on in the near future. I’ve always adored the poster art of the early Bond movies. And I’m quite fond of the corny, artificial and camp look and feel of the first films. So drawing caricatures based on the early Bond years is fun.

James Bond/Reservoir Dogs crossover... actually I don't know, I sound weird but Tarantino isn't into Craig that much, hopefully this won't backfire for those who aren't into Tarantino. BTW the title is called "Platinum" set in early 2006, it acts as a prequel to Casino Royale, this is set a month-and-a-half after Bond's first kill, where Bond is vacationing in Prague until a group of armed heist groups start terrorizing MI6, in a very Die Hard scenario. Enjoy! It isn't as good, promise me. Also my statement is that I wanted to bring in Desmond Llewellyn if he hadn't passed away from a traffic collision, my friend from Canada wished he was alive to this current generation.

Damn, that is bloody clever. They missed a trick by not having a fun viral campaign in this style with that film. Great fun!

I thought so too. It's cool when films are promoted in this kind of way, as it makes the world of a film feel more real by having it extend beyond the confines of the movie.

One of the newspapers of the time did come with a fake 'Tomorrow' cover wrapping around it, I still have that somewhere.

There were official 8x10 photos and trading cards which featured the characters of TND against a Tomorrow newspaper backdrop. Nice work by the way, @mattjoes :)>-

Were there? That's pretty cool. I'll have to have a look and see if I can find those anywhere.

I was only hitting double digits age-wise when TND came out so I must have missed all of those little marketing things. I think TWINE with its teaser and then its character posters were the first ones that made an impression on me in a cinema foyer or in a newspaper.

You can find them on ebay, some photos are signed. The trading cards are by Inkworks.

I missed all the marketing goodies too, I was too wrapped up in discovering the films themselves, and studying their chronological order. TND was a step up from GE in terms of how many promotional items were released. You have the posters, and then all the small tech toys like the recording pen, micro camera etc., most of which I have now, thank you ebay!

Cool to know that they did take advantage of that marketing opportunity, @QBranch. It would have been a shame not to!

Thank you. I especially enjoyed writing the text at the bottom because it made the world of the film feel a little more detailed and alive for me. I was thinking you must feel something similar when you collect/assemble those props.

The characters featured are Bond, Wai Lin, Paris, Carver, Stamper, Wade, and even Inga. M, Q and Moneypenny are all together in one photo.

It was fun reading those articles. It does make the fictional world feel more real, especially when holding them, or carrying around a Bond business card in my wallet - something I totally do not do... ;) It's great to make the custom stuff - sometimes it's a challenge to design it to look like a real, professional item rather than a novelty toy. I call them 'expanded universe' items.
