Funnily enough, those Chuck Norris facts post date Vin Diesel facts, which were the very first.

The Highlander films and specially the Highlander TV series were favourites of mine when I was an early teenager. I'm not sure about Reynolds as Connor McLeod of the Clan McLeod though. What do you think?
I am a huge fan of the Highlander TV series. It's a shame that the movie spin-offs of that show were so poorly done. It was very frustrating that the films often ignore the established mythology established in the series. Adrian Paul turned out to be a somewhat limited actor; but he was really great as Duncan McCloud. With stronger acting chops he would have made a great Bond.
As far as Reynolds, I can't see it at the moment but that could change.

@FireSkull, of course I don't take them seriously, it's just one of those annoying things that sprouted at once and everyone seemed to jump on said bandwagon.

Just like the release of Borat: every where I walked in high school, all I heard were the same, repetitive quotes from the film.

Bradley Cooper likely to star in 'American Sniper' biopic:

Zoe Saldana in 'Machete Kills,' Anthony Hopkins in 'RED 2':

Ashley Hamilton to join Iron Man 3:

And finally, the red-band trailer for 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter':

WOW! Very good news all around. Thank you very much. I'm glad to see we seem to be getting over this terrible movie slump we've had the past few years. Maybe it won't be up to Nolan/Bond/Tarantino/Pixar to make the only good films anymore!

@JWESTBROOK, you're very welcome. Yes, I think this and next year are coming along quite nicely in the film department. We have a lot of great films to look forward to.

I'm looking forward to Michael Mann's next project, whatever that may be that he gets rolling with first.

He's always one to watch. He's sort of low radar but manages to produce some excellent work. I just love the sudden rise in excellent new film-makers, even though they seem to be sprouting off of re-hashed ideas.

Joss Whedon and Timur Bekmambetov and two of my favorite 'newcomers'. Marc Forster is hit and miss, and I liked Drive enough to look forward to Refn's next film.

I'm a huge fan of Refn: Bronson, Valhalla Rising, and Drive were all excellent films, and if you haven't seen Bronson, it's a must-see.

I'm a big fan of Steve McQueen, the director: Twelve Years A Slave (out 2013) sounds great, and I really loved his NC-17 film Shame, starring Michael Fassbender.

And since he typically is brought up when it comes down to Bond's attire, I enjoyed Tom Ford as a director. A Single Man was a very emotional drama, and it deserved all the praise it received. One of the best roles I've seen Colin Firth in.

Oh, and Jon Favreau will reprise his role in Iron Man 3, as well:

Pierce is slated to be in November Man - which may end up being a trilogy or series - with Dominic Cooper, and he will also be in the action thriller The Coup, with Owen Wilson.

I think its ironic how the previous Bonds have all been out around november, and this old-Bond is making a spy movie called November man. Bond is indeed our November man.

I'm just thankful that he's getting a few more of these under his belt. I loved him in the Tailor of Panama/The Matador/The Thomas Crown Affair era, but then he just jumped to quite a few romantic comedies I was none too crazy about.

William Sadler - the bad guy from Die Hard 2 - will be joining Iron Man 3, as well:

The Magnificent Seven is one of my favourite westerns ever. Really unhappy about the news of a remake with Tom Cruise.

It may not even happen. Tom Cruise seems to be attached to everything these days, and he's almost 50. He's currently filming Oblivion, then he has what many of us want to see: Mission Impossible 5. But, the studio said they wanted to do Top Gun 2 first, so if he is going to be in that, then that's another film added on. All You Need Is Kill is in pre-production, and he's been announced to be in a Van Helsing reboot/prequel, something to that effect, along with the countless other films he's shown interest in/spoken about/studios have talked about, just like his Les Grossman spin-off from Tropic Thunder.

    But, time will tell.

It just gets worse - a remake of The Magnificent 7 with Tom Cruise ?, damn it, guys like Brynner, McQueen and Coburn would be turning in their graves, what a lame idea

Too many damn remakes now, and an insult to the integrity of the original releases I sometimes feel - just leave them alone!

@Baltimore_007, before you know it, we'll have a remake of films like Metropolis, Citizen Kane, The Godfather, Gone With The Wind, and Casablanca: all starring the Wayans brothers, and directed by Uwe Boll.

After they did a remake of the immortal King Kong from the 1930s, then I guess anything is possible.. 8-|

If they ever do this with Schwarzenegger's Commando - hard words will be spoken

I agree in general, but a well done remake is okay. It is just too much these days; glut of remake after remake. Not satisfying.
Also, I just wanted to say probably only Alan Ladd would not turn over in his grave. ;)

All I will say is this remake with Cruise better not happen. If it does, then wow, we may have reached a new low...

Well the Magnificient Seven was a remake to start with..... imo I much prefered the original Kurosawa masterpiece 'Seven Samourai'

Seven Samurai was a work of art! The Magnificent Seven is also a work of art, in a different way. I don't mind remakes as long as there is room for improvement, which I doubt in this case...

The only thing is, I can already see a continuity error.. haha. In the pic I posted in the thread, the one of Jamie on the left, his gun is on his right. But in the middle-bottom pic w/ Tarantino, his gun is on the left side. Hopefully the shots aren't in the same sequence :)

@JWESTBROOK, good eye. One of the most notable continuity errors I've instantly spotted in a film was Kill Bill: Vol 1, when Vernita Green holds up the picture of her daughter, and how she is holding it with her hand changes between shots.

Evidence and speculation on if death will be overturned in the Marvel movie Universe: (WARNING, CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE AVENGERS, POSSIBLY OTHER MARVEL FILMS):

Ridley Scott wants Harrison Ford for 'Blade Runner' sequel:

And, compiled here, are all of the new banners, posters, quotes, and TV spots for The Dark Knight Rises:

Might not be a continuity error, it could be that someone at the magazine inverted the photo for some reason. It has happened before.
