Part of me wonders if this will be Michael G. Wilson's last movie, as he's not in the best shape health wise.
With all the delays, all the changes that are about to happen in the industry, and EON's slow pace lately, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get Bond 26 till 2025. Or 2026.

There's been so much promotional material out centered on Q that I am legit wondering if something big happens to him in the movie. The watch, the 'interview' trailer, as well as the fact he is the only MI6 regular who appears on the final poster, and his character poster was released first with Bond and the new cast, and not with the other regulars.

Don't forget in the first trailer where the masked figure peeks through a set of corrugated glass doors that strongly resemble the doors to Q's flat.

Yeah could be. I’m sure they know he’s popular.

I wouldn't be surprised if B26 is delayed until 2032 for the series' 70th anniversary..............then delayed once again after Craig finally decides he's not coming back after all.

Craigs antics in the gym was needed to mask the fact that he lacked anything in the way of a conventional attractiveness or natural charisma.

The UK cinema industry is understood to be lobbying the government to approve a proposed reopening scheme that would see venues welcome customers by the end of June.

Looks like a burnt out harddrive on Q's desk. From the lab explosion perhaps?

Looks like an old CD tray. Is it burnt? I think it's just in shadow.

Definitely looks burnt out to me. I'm more interested in the Star Trek chess set.

They could use this time they got now as time to sped on the next 007 picture, script and direction they want to take with the new fella.

    I seriously wouldn't bother.

One can hope. But I'm not holding my breath for B26.

As long as there's a Bond film released in 2027 and it has OO7 in his Navy uniform, a Q-vehicle named "Nellie", and an assault on the villain's secret lair I'm good. Easy.

Apparently Adele has lost 3.6 stones. Time for her to make a comeback as a Bond singer and girl.

Where are you seeing burns? I thought it was a load of tools rather than a chess set but I guess some of them would be useless.

I think you’re right about the tools. If you look closely at the top left of the CD drive, you can see what to me looks like burn damage.

I think it's a shadow, but then the bit nearest the camera on the right does sort of look a bit melted so you may well be right.

I'm not convinced that is a chess set. There are too many different shaped pieces.

Can anyone identify the brand of the burnt CD drive, it has cut-out lettering on the front panel, with a little capital 'A' perhaps, and large 'E'.

I think the front panel lettering is actually just the vents on the drive and not any initials.

Also I do agree that that is most likely not a chess set, but we have not seen anything quite like them in any of the other promotional material.

Sorry guys I was joking about the chess set, it’s very likely not that. Likely a set of tools like was previously mentioned, or some other gadget.

Yes, it does remind one of a chess set, without a doubt. Of course the parts in the photo do not coincide with actual chess pieces.

Looks like some kind of lab test tubes.

Instead of chess players: how about injection needles, maybe as part of Q:s mobile lab?

Potentially, but I don't think this particular location is Q's mobile lab because you can see what looks like a brick column behind him.
