Welcome back @Octopussy, I do recall a member at the old KTBEU forum with a still of Roger Moore from Curse Of The Pink Panther for an avatar.
Did you have the same username or was it different?

Either way, Octopussy is a wonderful name and Bond film.

Hi everyone, long-time lurker here. I've been visiting the forum for about a year following the progress of NTTD.

I'm a fan of the more neglected corners of Bond - the graphic novels (Dynamite or otherwise), video games and some of the continuation novels in particular. As well as the films and Fleming, obviously.

I've also recently tried my hand at fanedits, specifically trying to create Timothy Dalton's 3rd Bond using footage from other films.

Anyway, hi! I'm looking forward to joining in.

Welcome @Klaus_Doberman good to see another Dalton fan.
  • Thanks @Resurrection and @BMW_with_missiles - much appreciated.

I must admit, if I could change anything Bond-related, I'd love to have seen a follow-up game to Bloodstone, and a 3rd film for Tim. But you can't always get what you want, I guess.

Welcome @Klaus_Doberman! Tell me, do you have any experience with the James Bond 007 Gameboy game?
  • Thanks @NickTwentyTwo!

I'm afraid I don't. I didn't even know it existed. Worth seeking out?

I think it is. Maybe it hasn't aged too well, but I think it encapsulates Bond more than some of the games that just focus on shooting everything. I haven't played every Bond game, and some of the more modern ones I understand feature casino/card game segments which I think is really cool, so maybe I'm giving the Gameboy game too much credit but I still like it a lot!
  • Sounds great, I’ll take a look. Thanks man.
