    :))

"If they have to be banned, I'd rather do it."

Jokes aside though, I think Barry is on to something.

Just forwarding this from @Thunderpussy for any Mods or Chiefs here to help accordingly :

I'm just re-posting from AJB007 , If anyone could help AndrewBond.

"Is there anyone here who is also a member of the MI6 Community forum? If so, would you be able to help - I’ve tried creating a login on that forum, but I don’t receive any confirmation emails to verify my address, thus am not able to participate. I tried creating a second login using a different email address (and provider - one iCloud and one Gmail) in case there was a conflict with iCloud, but again no confirmation emails to that address either.

I can’t seem to find a way of contacting MI6 Community to make them aware of this issue (no email address, I did find an online web form but have had no response using that - maybe more email issues on their side?) so wonder if anyone could post a message there asking them to check if their email verification system is working as it should? Thanks in advance."

Time to update from "Bond 25" to "No Time To Die" in the "Categories " column.
Shouldn't the categories on the left hand side show 'No Time to Die' on it in the Bond film section, rather then Bond 25,now ?
    Just a suggestion.

That would appear to be something an admin would have to tweak, unless I'm entirely overlooking how to change it. I'll contact one of them to make the change, thanks @barryt007 and @Thunderfinger.

Not a bad idea, but I cannot figure out how to make the change.
Nothing us mods can do about it as far as I'm concerned. @MI6?
  • You guys may want to update some of the category descriptions... "Bond Movies" has this: "James Bond movies from Dr. No to Quantum of Solace"

Knowing the rules yet being homophobic, crass and blatantly rude to other members due to their opinion tends to do that.

  • Question for the mods:
Since when is it okay to post video of another forum member (despite how annoying he/she might be)?

Can you clarify what you mean @JamesStock ? Someone posting a video of themselves or of another member?
    Link?

Another member. Fifth from the bottom, page 462 of the NTTD production thread. It's in the spoiler tag. I flagged it.

Thank you for looking into it.

You do know that that is actually a video of the Wealdstone Raider and presumably therefore just a joke?

Not to worry. We all make mistakes. To be honest, I only discovered The Wealdstone Raider a few years ago myself on YouTube. I'd somehow missed when the video had went viral in December 2014, but that's no big surprise as I'm not a football fan.

Is there an easier way to not repost in one post.

It is a bit of a process, but one thing to do is when you click 'quote' to respond, open it in a new tab, then copy the contents of the box you're typing in, go back and edit your original post, and paste it in there.

It's not a super intuitive process, but it's the easiest way to quote multiple people in the same post I've found.

It might be convenient to do what I have always done, and keep a notepad file set aside specifically for the forums. I first type my comment in notepad, save, then copy it to the forum. When quoting multiple people, quote one person, copy/paste to notepad, repeat, rearrange if needed, and save. It becomes automatic after a while, and is not as complicated as it may sound. Major benefits of doing it this way is that in the 8+ years I've been with MI6C, I have never had to worry about losing large bodies of text while posting, and because it's saved, I can come back to it later and edit at will.

It would be awesome if, when writing a comment, the programming just checked if the last post in the thread was yours, and if it was, automatically added it to the last post. Obviously if they could do this they would, but would make things much easier and make multi posting impossible.

    Hi guys,

Can I get permission to start a 'NTTD prop/merchandise thread' in the 'No Time To Die (2020)' section? It'll be a spoiler thread, and there's lots of NTTD gear to flesh this thread out.

    Cheers

Does whatever system that powers this forum offer a dark mode? Would be nice to have white text on a black background. One of the few websites I visit now that has a bright white background.

You have to become part of the dark side of the Force to get that feature.
