Just found this on the Seiko website. Quite Bondian i thought with a price to match!

Shame they don’t reissue some of their Bond digital watches: I bet they’d sell rather well. I guess they’ve stopped digital though.

Looks like Swatch are releasing a new range of JB inspired watches based on six different films, one for each actor, plus a 7th ltd Ed one based on the watch Q will wear in NTTD.

Bit disappointed in the Moonraker one, not very exciting, but the Dr No and OHMSS are pretty eye candy.

I'm a big fan of Swatch (wearing one right now) so I'm very excited about this. Love the OHMSS one (bit disappointed by LTK).

I bought alreadya few a Swatch watches and one of them was a bondian one: the FRWL edition (many years ago). It is cool that there are new ones but they don't look as great as I hoped.

@Agent_99 @goldenswissroyale as someone who’s never had a swatch before how durable are they? I’ve always expected the straps to break quickly but hopefully that’s not the case? Might pick myself up a Dr No or OHMSS one up this time round ...

@Max_The_Parrot It's true that the strap looked a bit scuffed after one or two years. But I wore it all day. Swatch is generally very good for its price (definitely not expensive compared to other swiss brands).

They’re always pretty collectible aren’t they? Might be worth investing.

@Max_The_Parrot They're pretty tough even though they look disposable. The strap is the vulnerable point, as you've guessed. I had the TLD model from the original Bond run and eventually the plastic of the case got brittle and crumbled where the strip attaches; this was after a decade of almost daily wear.

Realistically, if you wear it it's gonna get scuffed up; if you want a collectible, keep it in its box. I tend to think that Stuff is for using and enjoying.

I had the Dr. No one. And the Goldfinger. Cooler than the new ones, I think.

Yes, they looked cooler. Definitely more suitable for adults. The new ones are a bit too colourful for my taste.

Thanks @goldenswissroyale and @Agent_99 - I’m also of the ‘buy it to enjoy it’ opinion, so it’s good to know they are tougher than you might think - I think you’ve got your money’s worth out of it after a decade of daily use! I wouldn’t wear it every day but I’d like to get plenty of occasional use out of it.

I agree they are a little more on the garish side than the previous versions - that Dr No one that @Univex posted is a great looker, as was the Moonraker ‘villains’ one that they did - I really don’t like the new Moonraker design.

Yes, the DRAX ENTERPRISE CORPORATION detail was awesome.

The watch may have gone (I got rid of it when it broke as it was a gift from a former boyfriend and I decided to let go; regret not keeping it for display now) but I do still have the catalogue:

I remember that catalogue. I cut out the stills from the movies, made a collage and pasted it on the door to my room.

I'd still rather go with this one. But I'm a sucker for dive watches.

Hey, how does one go about uploading a pic from one's drive?

PS: Can't believe I'm asking about this almost 20 years later.

I think one have to upload it to some stock image site first (like above image is from flicker.com) and then copy paste that link here.

Postimage.org i've found is easiest to upload photos to this site. Very quick.

A man of good taste, I see. I wear this watch everywhere from the beach to the boardroom. It's extremely versatile.

A good taste and being a Bond fan that I am made me buy the Aqua Terra. It is very versatile indeed.

I have two other Bond Omega's that I wear in rotation, but the blue Aqua Terra is definitely my favourite.

I picked up this rep a while back. It features the CR limited edition gun barrel dial and second hand, crossed with the aesthetics of the newer SMPs - the large numbers on the bezel insert, and tapered helium valve. All in all, a very nice rep. After a few modifications, I can add it to the NTTD collection:

It has a buckle, and 6 notches:

I don't condone fakes. But I have to admit that NTTD watch looks good for something that you custom made.......

Thanks. I did not intend to wear it, it's a mock-up display watch with the hands printed on the dial.
