I really hope Saffin is...idk...father/son/brother of No rather than Dr. No himself

    Amazing cinematography, great shots

    Visually this will be great

Idk what "this changes everything" means...I don't think they'll use a phrase like that for no reason?

That is intriguing too it has me worried.

I think the Malek shot he is holding m at gunpoint. And if you look closer there is a mysterious silhouette in the lower left hand corner looks almost like the person in the mask behind the glass from first trailer.

When I first saw the glider images I thought „Now we know where the Valkyrie comes in“. For a moment it seemed they did a TMWTGG thing, where the car drives into a garage/cargo bay and exits again as a mini-plane. Gladly, this does not seem to be the case.

Is that shot of m and dench's m the same sequence?

    Yes.

I’m astonished about this merging timelines idea. Do you guys really believe EoN would do such a stupid, crazy, pointless move?

When I saw the gliders with Bond and Nomi, my first thought was the switchblades and DAD!
And then I saw the rest and felt batter. I hope my DAD memory doesn’t turn out to be true.

Exactly....I thought so too....I've always felt NTTD was half-grounded, half over-the-top. If the balance is gotten right, it always turns out to be classic Bond. E.g GF,TLD, GE, etc. And I think at times, NTTD will feel like 2 films in one...making the 3hr thing true....coz it seems there's serious & more expansive globe-trotting this time around.

First of all, we said it’s very unlikely, it’s wishful. Secondly, regardless, please don’t call other people’s ideas or wishes “stupid, crazy, pointless “. We’re on here to have fun, not throw insults or be insulted. It’s not the first time with you. Knock it off; Friendly Warning.

Really, it’s all for fun. I think ending with Bond meeting Sylvia Trench at the baccarat table, cutting to black after “Bond, James Bond” would not only be a good nod to the original film but also serve as a nifty bookend to how CR concluded with him introducing himself to Mr. White. It’s a way of saying that Bond is back in the game, as opposed to a literal lead-in for DR. NO. Then with Bond 26 they can take any direction they want which probably WON’T be remaking DR. NO.

I don't want to be negative, but I thought about DAD too. It's so obvious it's done with CGI. I hope that doesn't take me out of the film.

Overall I'm still looking forward to NTTD, very much so.

What does he say towards the end of the spot? It sounds like:
    "zwigfzwigfssh is your choice"

    He's Dr. No's.... Clone.

He's been the voice inside Bond's head the entire time!

Super excited for No Time To Die to arrive. I think they've taken a lot of inspiration from Dr. No but I don't believe that Safin is in fact him. I would certainly have a preference for that not to be the case.

I'm loving all the Ken Adams references.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I'd argue this scene takes place after Bond's run in with SPECTRE. The shirt is clearly not a tab collar as it doesn't have a secondary button underneath the collar. Craig has almost always worn suspenders with his tuxedos since Casino Royale and that makes me think this takes place around the time of this image.

I love that Bond is wearing cocktails cuffs with a tuxedo again like Connery did in Dr. No. These were previously reintroduced in Spectre but only when wearing his suit in Rome.

The plane does look a bit too Brosnan era for me, personally.

I don't think Eon would want to bring back another Old villian after the recent Debacle with Blofeld's Character. I would like to think Safin...maybe, is inspired by Doctor No...rather than Doctor No himself. Blofeld is Bond's ultimate Villian....so he can share the screen with any Bond....and might return in a much better iteration in a future installment...I really can't say the same for Doctor No.

Might be the wrong thread, but could this be the aircraft with the glider (probably CGI) inside? Plus to right you can see a car. Is that the same Aston Martin Nomi is driving when she meets up with Bond on the dusty road? If so that could be a clue. Speculation: He joins her in the car, hatching a plan, drives to the airfield and up in the aircraft / sitting in the glider.

It's obvious it says "It will be the dead of him."

    Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)

"This was your choice." is what I hear. But you might just be making a point that it is difficult to understand what he is saying. :P

Yes, that's the DBS Superleggera of Nomi and Craig's outfit (with the exception of the N. Peal sweater) is practically the same, so that could very well be the case.

I have another theory that I got from a youtuber what if Blofeld is talking about m not Bond when he says when her secret comes out it will be the death of him.

Guys, the trailer editors confirmed back in December that Blofeld says "death of you".
Can we put this to rest?

Does trailer editors actually know much about the script? :-? I doubt it to be honest. I still hear "him"

    So, let me understand...
Your idea of continuity is having an Egyptian-American actor playing a bad guy with a Russian surname who turns out to be a classic Chinese villain from the Connery films, originally played by a Jewish Canadian thespian, all of this under the eye of a Japanese-American director?

As Julius No himself would say, "thumbs down". But, given Dr. No's fingers situation, it wouldn't translate well to an emoji.
That said, if this is representative of the outside ideas and speculation submitted to EON Productions, no wonder that Purvis and Wade have been able to make it for seven entries in a row.

Yes, trailer editors know the script well. They get a copy of the script, read it and they look for dialogue that they might want to use and also things that are important. So their script is probably full of scribbles of the footage they are most interested in looking at before they start editing the trailer. Them I guess they have access to everything, including angles that won't even be in the film.

    Couple of comments/questions
    1. I know Fukunaga mentioned this movie dealing with legacy which could explain our current M looking distraught at Dench's M like he is failing her legacy. as someone cleverly theorised in a previous post. The callbacks to Dr. No and Die Another Day might also be playing around with the idea of the Bond film franchise legacy and it's pressure.
    2. Would anyone be able to tell me what Bond is doing in that shot when he walks out with the gun. I can't quite catch the movement?
    3. Loving this footage.

I hear him as well. Maybe they are changing it on purpose. Like a real espionage ploy.

:)) Brilliant! Don't forget he's also supposed to be
Swann's long lost brother, so he's got a French sister and a Danish father
and he will be killed by a British secret agent.
