Who knows?...maybe it's just to add a more stylized scene of 'The Name's Bond....James Bond'.

“... Empire’s latest issue offers a world exclusive first look at Daniel Craig’s last 007 movie, trailing across London, Jamaica, and New York to get the inside story on Bond 25.”

    New York?!?!

Looking at the cover, it looks like the image of Craig is compressed.
  • So as a big MJ fan Lea has gone up even higher in my estimation. Love it.

People seem to be surprised by this - reshoots and pickups are usual on all blockbusters and many films in general...?

Yeah, Lea is great in that video, and Craig looks better than on the poster.

True, and pick ups indicates it is relatively minor things, not shooting completely new material.

I don't take reshoots or pickups or whatever as any sign of trouble anymore. More like a standard thing these days, at least for the biggies.

Unless things go into extremes... Did someone say 'New Mutants'? ;-)

Basically, during the editing process they realize they’re missing (or they decide they want to add) little bits and bobs, so actors may return to set for a few days of minor filming. Reshoots, which I’m sure you’ve also heard of, are the extreme form of this, which is when they begin replacing existing footage with new material.

Spot on. Just an example: the Downey Jr. “I am Iron Man” at the end of Endgame was a last minute pick up.
    Thanks, @matt_u :)

Maybe Craig has to say, "I am 007". ;-)
  • Say, did you guys know that pickups are pretty common on big movies?

I know DAD was OTT. But I do like it when Bond combines the Title with his Dialogue....'So you live to Die Another Day....Colonel'. Would like it if Craig's Bond does the same in NTTD.

A textless version of this picture with the NTTD logo would’ve been a far superior poster than the teaser one we had.

Love that video of Lea (especially as an MJ fan), she seems like a good laugh
That's a great photo of Bond. Craig still looks great in the part, hopefully we find out some good exclusives from the article

Lea filming for pickups, her look is quite glamorous and not a look we saw in the trailer

Kudos to whoever decided on Craig's hairstyle for this film. His best since Casino Royale.

What an excellent picture this should be the poster. Someone pick up a copy.

If only the official poster used that font style--yes, I'm kidding.
So, unless a person says something outlandish like 'Bond should fight against zombies and vampires', it's better to say 'I disagree with your view on Bond' than 'You don't understand Bond'.
Zombie Bond is my longtime idea.

Good for you with the 10 April release dates, @4EverBonded. I experienced those month-or-more delays living in Japan and Korea over the years.

Moving on don't know if it's been mentioned before but I was watching NTTD trailer again. There was 2 cars and one bike in this chase. Didn't saw that that the last time.

3 Photos from New teaser of Q. We finally get to see his home.

That gun is now Walther at all. But my Clue there will be other using Walther pistols beside 007. Nomi is likely to use a new Walther maybe P99 or PPQ.

That last photo has fun house scaramaga vibes with the wired lighted rectangles in the distance.

Yeah....just saying. I think while it might not be exact, we had something similar in SP's finale, which I thought wasn't that thrilling. Don't know if it would be cool to do a fun house thing again in NTTD. Maybe Fukunaga handled it properly....but I prefer original action scenes though.

No fluff in the new Empire this time! No rubbish about the largest explosion eve r filmed (that was Spectre Chris Hewitt). There is a big spoiler early in the article. Re:Cuba. Not sure if it’s been posted about before but confirms two things we have all been speculating on.

    Photos to follow!
