Ugly, in my opinion. In general it's nice to have a reliable and powerful engine, but the wheels are just not right. I don't have the mindset for a family car upgraded to a sports car. Why not buy a sorts car instead on the side?

If you listen closely, you can hear her purr.

Btw, is the camber of the rear wheels normal for an E-Type?

No, it isn't. But this is a race version. ;-)

Not just any racing version either; that’s one of the CUT 7 cars- a famous racer. I’ve seen it race many times at Goodwood.

I'd love an Esprit, and I don't think it's just the Bond connection either. I'd love Lotus to build something as simple and stylish again.

Yes I think it's worked pretty well. And I'm not usually keen on making cars look more aggressive.

The best part of it all is that a V8 has replaced the V6.

    Eat this, green terrorists. >:)

There was always a V8! They’ve just dropped the V6. To be honest the 2.0l has always sounded pretty good anyway!

Yes, but they upgraded the V8.

    So... ;-)

Don't like the upgrade on the Jag, not one bit. But then again, it's tradition, as they upgraded the E-type in the seventies to a similar poor effect.

Renault 25. Crap, I know, but I quite like the design.

They were made in not so small numbers until 1992 but they disappeared quickly.

What would you call the AMC-Renaults of the eighties, then? ;)

The Renault 25 looks very luxurious in that picture :-)
But when I think of Renault, these models come to mind:

The A110s (old and new) are actually quite pleasant to the eye in real life ;-)

Oh come on, the Renault 25 wasn't a bad looking car. Another Renault I liked the look of, was the 25's sucessor, the Safrane.

    renault-safrane-2.jpg

Might not be the most flash car out there, but it certainly was not an ugly looking car.
