    Thank you @goldenswissroyale -- i think we should have a go @thedove

    AURIC GOLDFINGER
    DR. NO
    ALEC TREVELYAN

@thedove ... is it that Goldfinger and Dr. No are the names of the villains and the titles of the films, while Alec didn't get a film named after him?

Alec Trevelyan's not a Fleming character?

Wow I didn't realize all the possible differences between the 3. All great guesses but not what I am thinking of.

A hint is in order...has to concern with the villain's plot.

I suppose Dr No is odd man out since his plan is to disrupt rockets launched from Cape Canaveral; GF wants to infect the gold in Fort Knox with radiation (by blowing up a nuclear device inside the compound), driving up the value of his own reserve; Alec wants to bankrupt England through cyber-theft, then blow up London to cover his tracks, @thedove ...

And yes, so many ways we can go on this one!

I'm going to give it to you @peter I was thinking that only Alec's plan involved Great Britain while the other two were wrecking havoc with American missiles and American soil!

    Ha! Well played!

FRWL and LALD were released in the third year of the respective decade, AVTAK was released in the fifth year?

    AVTAK is odd one out?

Hmmmm in FRWL James Bond poses with Tatiana as husband and wife; Bond and Rosie do the same thing in LALD... Bond Is not undercover as a married man in AVTAK. AVTAK as odd one out?

.... FRWL is odd man out @barryt007 ... LALD and AVTAK see Roger Bond making it with an African/American woman???
Nope, but it does involve characters ;)

LALD – Both FRWL and AVTAK involves villains with a Soviet connection?

LALD and AVTAK both feature inept American police officers. So FRWL is the one left out?
    Good effort but no.

Both Kananga and Zorin wish to monopolize a business, while FRWL sees a independent organization trying to discredit M16. So again FRWL is odd one out?
    Afraid not.

FRWL and LALD both have fights on a train, while AVTAK does not. Therefore AVTAK is odd one out.
