I think the ship or whatever it is needs more lights, I need something for motion sickness. :-&
I think it looks potentially fun, even if they’re doing that well-worn ringing ears thing (but only for a couple of seconds!). I agree the set has too many illuminated strips and lights, but that’s an issue I have with SNW too.
Things that bug me about that trailer: CGI looks too polished, transformer space ships where the parts are not physically attached (as with floating nacelles), a Captain that needs glasses to read controls, a Captain in need of a hair band, instant transporting on-the-spot.
Things I like: Chrome on the bridge, Robert Picardo as EMH and Holly Hunter as Captain Ake (and generally actors in their late 60s/early 70s to accompany the "Friends"), WALL-E bots, facial prosthetics of Number One and red-haired lieutenant, Captain's voice reminiscient of Janeway, design of the spaceship (USS Athena), window pattern of its saucer section, look of the ship's graphic interfaces.
