I think the ship or whatever it is needs more lights, I need something for motion sickness. :-&

Wasn’t TNG and Kelvin Trek the only times where the bridge was way over lit?

    How have they got Giamatti?
I think it looks potentially fun, even if they’re doing that well-worn ringing ears thing (but only for a couple of seconds!). I agree the set has too many illuminated strips and lights, but that’s an issue I have with SNW too.

Things that bug me about that trailer: CGI looks too polished, transformer space ships where the parts are not physically attached (as with floating nacelles), a Captain that needs glasses to read controls, a Captain in need of a hair band, instant transporting on-the-spot.

Things I like: Chrome on the bridge, Robert Picardo as EMH and Holly Hunter as Captain Ake (and generally actors in their late 60s/early 70s to accompany the "Friends"), WALL-E bots, facial prosthetics of Number One and red-haired lieutenant, Captain's voice reminiscient of Janeway, design of the spaceship (USS Athena), window pattern of its saucer section, look of the ship's graphic interfaces.

Here's an early discussion on the Athena's design:
