    Thiessen turns 45.....

    Can't believe i met her , i never ever thought id get the chance as she has never done a con in Europe and usually it takes yrs for showmasters to get them over - not to mention the possibility of the guest cancelling (met her at book signing in CA)

    Happy 70th birthday to the legendary Niki Lauda, who survived a near-fatal accident at the 1976 German grand prix. He returned to the competition only 6 weeks later, allowing him to add two more titles to his name and become one of 10 men to have won three or more world championships. Daniel Bruhl portrayed him in the 2013 biopic Rush.

    Well folks, in my timezone, I'm only about an hour away from March 7.
    On that day, 37 years ago, I was welcomed into this world.
    And on that same day, 14 years ago, I joined the original KTBEU forum, this magical place's great predecessor.

    To celebrate this double anniversary, I would like to treat you all to some Belgian chocolates.
