We have another deadline tomorrow, but let's take a look at how we did in gameweek 27. Despite this being a double gameweek for Burnley, they failed to deliver for those who backed them for points. I can't think of a double with an average points score as low as 40 points, which makes this a gameweek to forget. That being said, 7 teams managed to score 50 points or more, so all in all our league did quite well this gameweek. And for the first time in our league history we have not one but three gameweek winners! Congratulations to Benny's Blues, Dinamo Skruknott and FC Nostromo – all scoring 55 points. =D>

Indeed! It's very difficult. I'm not settled on anything with less that one hour to go!

The Utd - City game will be an interesting one. Solskjær somehow managed to get results against City. We'll see if Rangnick can do the same.

Same here! I had a late decision on the last midfield spot. Picking Mount over Havertz was a really bad call…

Didn't have time to do the captaincy list today. Will make one for next gameweek!

Coutinho, Havertz and James cappers are off to a good start. :-bd

I had Havertz in my team until the last minute and decided to switch to Lukaku from Chelsea, I thought the fixtures he had would be good differentials if he started. I even had him as Captain with a minute to deadline them switched to James. I was forced to use my last free Hit so thought I had to take risks if I was ever going to make up ground. All my Wolves assets were a major let down, Jiminez like Lukaku was benched ~X(

I see a lot of teams with Jiménez, one or two Wolves defenders, as well as players like Digne (myself included), so you're not alone!

It appears Wolves lack of quality squad depth is catching up with them. Glad I Free Hit as some of the players I have brought in initially were for Hits and going forward I would not want to keep some of the players. I am in decent shape for the next Double also.

I was about to say I really need Watford to win then the excellent Odergard scores, dam. Arsenal certainly hit form at the right time, top four is there's to lose.

Dam my normal team has Mahrez scores twice, United in second half a shambles.

This team needs a overhaul, garbage display in second half.

I'm thinking of finding replacements for Kilman and Jiménez, but especially for the striker positions, there's little to choose from at the moment. Might just downgrade, or try to find funds to bring in Kane.

Had to do some work yesterday, so I didn't get the chance to see the matches. From what I've seen online, it wasn't a perfect game from Arsenal, but Saka, Ødegaard and Martinelli delivered. It's certainly a good thing that the youngsters are able to score; that and the fact that the squad itself is quite young is a positive for the long term – but I still have my doubts about how good this squad really is…

The City-United game seemed very one-sided from what I've seen. Liverpool will try to keep up, but I can't see City slip up now.

Arsenal need a cataclysmic disaster not to get fourth now, plus United are so bad at times in defence that we have no chance of consistency. There are a few players I want gone from the team completely. First half we were decent and competed, our defending was shocking though, usual culprits. Second half United were dreadful.

I have already brought a player in, I may take a hit to get another in.

Well, Arsenal's biggest opponent right now is themselves really. It wouldn't be unfamiliar for Arsenal to slip up… I see Roy Keane mentioning something similar to you, that some players should be moved on. I expect United will get the much needed rebuild from next season onwards, with a good manager in charge. And then the results will come, no doubt.

I'm toying with several options myself, and might make an early move if needed. Ideally I want to take a -12 point hit, but that's just too much…

A late gameweek 28 update, but better late than never! We had a very interesting double gameweek where many managers looked to make the most out of chips they had left. They way the gameweek panned out we also saw some huge gaps in points earned; James, Havertz, Cash and Coutinho returned some very big scores in their two fixtures. We had some great scores in our leagues as well, best of which was The Vardy Boyz' 132 points – and a gameweek rank of 93 430. Congratulations! =D>

Here are the gameweek 29 captaincy picks!
    Salah: 15
    Kane: 2
    Fernandes: 2
    Alexander-Arnold: 2
    Grealish: 1
    King: 1
    Kulusevski: 1
    Ronaldo: 1
    Saka: 1
    Coutinho: 1
    Mount: 1

Salah is (again) unsurprisingly the most captained player in our league, with Liverpool's double gameweek against Brighton and Arsenal. Kane, Alexander-Arnold and Fernandes. are the only other players backed by more than one managers – the former two also playing a double gameweek. Good luck everyone!

    Congratulations The Vardy Boyz

    ---

I took a - 8 Hit in the end, I had to get a few Spurs players in. Matip and Salah (C) have already got me points to pay for that hit. Apparently Salah has an unspecified injury and could be a doubt for Arsenal Gr.

Saying that Salah missing Arsenal may work in my favour as I suspect a lot of managers will triple Captain Salah this GW. I need Arsenal to lose that game as a Man United fan if I have faint hopes of top 4, so in a quandary over Salah.

Bruno not even in the squad today, not sure why. Dam I should have sold Bruno and kept Mahrez. My guess is he is being totally rested for the CL game midweek. Not follwoed any team news or build up this GW as been busy.

Superb Ronaldo Hatrick bailing us out of bad defending again, 3 - 2 win against Spurs, there is good reason he is the G. O. A. T. and greatest goal scorer in history.

Maguire shocking again I have lost count of his errors this season, a total liability he needs selling never mind dropping.

Same here, ended up taking a -8 to bring in Kane and Kulusevski – which has worked out fine so far. I see a lot of teams have taken hits though, so it's not the worst gameweek for a -4, -8 or even a -12.

A bit unfortunate with Salah, having played the Triple captain on him. But it's not confirmed to be a bad injury, so he might still feature on Thursday. Obviously I hope Arsenal can get points from that game, but I expect it will be a difficult game against Liverpool.

Looks like Ronaldo has found old form when United need it the most. With Arsenal's games in hand being Liverpool and Chelsea, I expect they will do what they always do – slip up and ruin their chances for a top four finish. If United starts picking up wins again, the CL spot is theirs for the taking.

Surely three bonus points for him if they keep a clean sheet!

Arsenal march on, I was hoping for something from Saka though White and Ramsdale delivered, most of my other players were dissapointing.

Much needed three points with the game against Liverpool coming up. Only the one point for City tonight too, which is all the motivation Liverpool need to perform at their best on Wednesday…

Liverpool will be wanting to win that more than ever with City drawing, I think they may risk Salah even if not fully fit. Admittedly I have not checked how Salah is currently.

Won't be surprised if they risk playing Salah, as long as he's deemed fit enough. I don't think he's trained yet though, as @007InAction mentions.

Tricky gameweek with so few games! It will be interesting to see if managers are willing to take hits to field as many players as possible. I can't field a full starting 11 without taking a -4 or a -8 (budget depending), and I'm not sure if it's worth it.
