    NSNA
    and
    OP
YOLT has gone down considerably over the years, and appreciate NSNA more.
Still struggle with SF, gone up a little, but OP is far more entertaining!

OP is not just not top ten, but is actually bottom five for me. But diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

Naturally, that is what the thread is about.

@j_w_pepper I'm trying desperately not to hit the big red button in the mod house.
@Birdleson and @Creasy47 are holding me back. ;)
I'll give you no OP love.

    I'm going to vote for,

    YOLT
    &
    OP

Surprisingly. Both win by a comfortable margin.

No it's most definitely a joke. Hence the ;) emoji.

@Thunderfinger please don't do that. It's caused problems in the past with members taking things far too literally and believing all that they read. I don't want a mass of head-hunters with pitchforks and flaming torches after me. Thanks.

    Round 75:

    YOLT

    and

    OP
    OP beats FYEO 16-11

Nice surprise! I always preferred OP to FYEO(John Barry score, stronger lead villains, more exciting 2nd half and finale, more age appropriate leading ladies for Moore's Bond).

YOLT over NSNA. No contest. Connery is arguably better in NSNA, but everything else about YOLT is superior.

SF over OP. I know OP is more popular around here, but ever since it released SF is a personal favorite of mine. I do enjoy OP too though.

YOLT a glorious, if not messy affair, over a hate filled abortion of a movie.

Very close, but SF edges this this tie up.

YOLT vs NSNA - Controversial perhaps, but these days I far prefer the rogue entry, which is growing on me by leaps and bounds with every viewing. I find it unique (despite utilizing a rehashed plot) with a far more interesting villain (Pleasance's iteration has become a caricature thanks to Powers), better Bond girls (I've never been a fan of Aki or Kissy) and a more engaged Connery (in superb shape for 53). Quite frankly, it's not close for me. I respect YOLT for the iconic elements it introduced, but I think they have been employed for more successfully in Gilbert's later films.

Fully agree with everything you say, although I do have a soft spot for Pleasence. NSNA wins.

While I don't struggle with SF, I do agree that OP is the more entertaining entry overall. OP wins.

Haven't voted on these in a while now!

YOLT vs NSNA (I enjoy both, but I'm in the minority of those who really, really enjoys YOLT).

OP vs SF (No question: OP, which is highly underrated to me, versus the one I rank in second to last place.)

    YOLT easily.

The second one is tough, as I am not a huge fan of either, but I will go with OP, if not just because it has Sir Rog and a John Barry score.

    OP

The second one is a nostalgia pick but truth is I’d take old 007 over the Mendes show anyday.

    OP

Even though OP is in my bottom ten, anything would be better than that dreadful SF.

YOLT over NSNA, but only just and because it's so exotic and exuberant.
SF over OP, because I prefer its cinematic style over OP's comedy (Tarzan, mock-croc, tiger-in-the-tank)

Thank you gents. These battles are generally so close for me (with a few exceptions) that I feel I must clarify why I went the way I did. If asked on another day I could easily go in the other direction.

    YOLT and OP for me.

YOLT is my favorite Bond film, can't exactly pick NSNA over it, can I?

FRWL is a clear winner for me.

    MR beats TND.
    - Better score.
    - Better effects, production design, ...
    - Even the plot is better; yes, I wrote that.
