    SF over OHMSS
  • View to a Kill (although I cringe seeing Dalton trussed up like a Xmas turkey in the pre titles!) and OHMSS for me.

    OP (but this was close; Walken and Jones make up for so many weaknesses in their film);
I LOVE skyfall, BUT ... OHMSS wins this battle (my number one 007 film at the moment)

Recently watched Majesty's, suffice to say it has improved in my ranking.

    Dalton isn't in AVTAK though.

He’s referring to the US cut. You, being a foreigner, wouldn’t know about Dalton’s early PTS appearance.

    What is this all about?

AVTAK- Only just. Neither are particularly high in my rankings, but the wonderful score and song, plus the sinister excellence of Christopher Walken as Zorin, tip it.

OHMSS- Fairly easy, this one. Whilst I am in the camp of Skyfall being somewhat overrated, it was still a well made, interesting film. OHMSS, on the other hand, is magnificent on almost every level. A rare adherence to the novel, the wonderful Diana Rigg. Telly Savales has Blofeld's best turn. The score is, even by Barry standards, remarkable. And let's not forget, the 'other fella' George Lazenby. He was never going to win any Oscar's, but he has an undeniable screen presence and deserve's his share of the films acclaim.

OP (despite slipping in my rankings recently it pips AVTAK)
OHMSS (Although I love SF, OHMSS is top three Bond for me)

Octopussy but only because of the quality of the scenes in Germany. The stuff in India seems feeble to me.

    OHMSS by a million miles

OP vs. AVTAK- very easy, one of my personal favorites vs. a bottom entry.

OHMSS vs. SF - Tough as hell, my 3rd and 2nd favorite respectively. I'll be a renegarde and pick SF though.

    @Thunderfinger
If still possible i'd like to put my vote for the last round in as well and get TWINE to a draw ;)
    Plus Thunderball please.

@00Agent , sorry to disappoint you, but voting for previous rounds is closed. Still, interesting to hear your opinion.

    As for me this round:
    OP over AVTAK
    OHMSS over SF

OP and AVTAK are neck and neck and a pretty impossible choice, but lately I’ve been developing a soft spot for AVTAK

And I enjoy watching SF when in the mood, but I’m happy to watch OHMSS anytime.

OP over AVTAK...by the smallest of margins, and without any emotional involvement on my part. Both in my bottom five. Exchangeable.

SF over OHMSS. SF is my No. 2 of the entire series, while OHMSS suffers from having a lousy actor as protagonist (and things like the stupid dubbing with Sir Hilary's voice), or it would be a far more formidable competitor).

OP. Quite easily. Moore and Maude Adams have great on-screen chemistry.
OHMSS. Both are classics IMO, but OHMSS is my favorite Bond film. And did I forget to add that I absolutely adore Diana Rigg!!!!

    Octopussy over AVTAK.

Skyfall over OHMSS, but both good flicks for my money.
  • OP
    OHMSS
  • Octopussy because it had better locations and action scenes.

Skyfall because it did something different and made it interesting.

    OP beats AVTAK 25-9

    OHMSS beats SF 26-8

This was the last round for OP until it faces NTTD later this year.

Kicking off the 2020s with the fourth films from Hamilton and Glen as well as the Mendes entries battling it out.

    Round 127:

    TMWTGG vs TLD

    and

    SF vs SP

    Two hands-down no-brainers this time:
    TLD over TMWTGG
    and of course
    SF miles ahead of SP.

TLD over TMWTGG, though these days it’s kind of close!

    SF demolishes SP.
