Nice. 155 point margin is definitely the biggest I've seen.

Again, I am pleased with this list overall. The biggest surprise for me was probably Moore's AVTAK performance not being in the bottom 5, although it came close.

What was the biggest difference between your personal list and this game's ranking?
Mine was Dalton's LTK performance, which finished at 18 in this game but was 11 on my list, for a difference of seven spots.

    Final result:

    01. Sean Connery in FRWL
    02. Sean Connery in DN
    03. Daniel Craig in CR
    04. Sean Connery in TB
    05. Sean Connery in GF
    06. Roger Moore in TSWLM
    07. Roger Moore in FYEO
    08. Roger Moore in LALD
    09. Timothy Dalton in TLD
    10. Roger Moore in TMWTGG
    11. Daniel Craig in SF
    12. Roger Moore in OP
    13. Daniel Craig in QOS
    14. Pierce Brosnan in GE
    15. Roger Moore in MR
    16. Pierce Brosnan in TND
    17. Sean Connery in NSNA
    18. Timothy Dalton in LTK
    19. Sean Connery in YOLT
    20. Roger Moore in AVTAK
    21. Sean Connery in DAF
    22. Pierce Brosnan in DAD
    23. George Lazenby in OHMSS
    24. Daniel Craig in SP
    25. Pierce Brosnan in TWINE

I'd say Moore in FYEO is the only one that is overvalued. QOS, GE, and TWINE in particular should be higher up.

I would add OHMSS to that list of underachievers. The only one much higher than I would place it is TLD.

For me the biggest discrepancy is TMWTGG. Moore's performance isn't bad, definitely better than the movie itself but I never think of it when considering my top ten performances. Craig in QoS & SF and Moore in OP certainly impressed me more.

Lazenby is underrated but I don't know if I'd rank him more than a few spots higher myself. His general delivery just wasn't nearly as good as most of the others'.

I would actually have TMWTGG a few places higher up. I find it to be the closest Moore got to Fleming's Bond (regardless of the silliness surrounding him).

Swap Brosnan in GE and TND for Lazenby and Craig in SP.

My list would go something like:

    1. Daniel Craig in Casino Royale
    2. Sean Connery in Dr. No
    3. Sean Connery in Thunderball
    4. Sean Connery in Goldfinger
    5. Roger Moore in For Your Eyes Only
    6. Roger Moore in The Spy Who Loved Me
    7. Daniel Craig in Skyfall
    8. George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    9. Sean Connery in From Russia with Love
    10. Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies
    11. Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye
    12. Roger Moore in Live and Let Die
    13. Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace
    14. Timothy Dalton in Licence to Kill
    15. Roger Moore in The Man With The Golden Gun
    16. Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights
    17. Roger Moore in Octopussy
    18. Daniel Craig in Spectre
    19. Roger Moore in A View to a Kill
    20. Sean Connery in You Only Live Twice
    21. Pierce Brosnan in Die Another Day
    22. Pierce Brosnan in The World Is Not Enough
    23. Sean Connery in Diamonds Are Forever
    24. Roger Moore in Moonraker

My general, personal ranking of the Bond actors is currently:
    1. Sean Connery
    2. Daniel Craig
    3. George Lazenby
    4. Roger Moore
    5. Pierce Brosnan
    6. Timothy Dalton

I'd place Moore in OP higher. That's my favorite performance from Moore. I love the confrontation he has with Orlov. Moore really shines there IMO. And while it wouldn't place in my top 10, I would have Brosnan's performance in DAD higher than all his other performances, followed by his performance in TND & then GE & then TWINE. I'd also probably swap the placement of Moore's performances in TSWLM & MR. I'd put Daniel Craig's performance in SF in my top 10 but neither of Dalton's performances. I thought he alternated between great & iffy in TLD and in LTK he gave an exceptional performance of a character that just doesn't feel like Bond to me. If this were "great performance" I'd rank Dalton in LTK highly. As a "Bond performance" though the avenging agent abandoning his duty to Queen & country just doesn't feel very Bond to me.

Daniel craig in Sp is about 12 points off, op is moore's best, dalton in ltk is 10 points off. Moore in mr should be #24 above connery in yolt and below moore in aytak. Can't say I agree with this list all that much overall. Also moore in tmwtgg should be closer to the bottom its at least 8 points too high.

I don't think Craig's performance in SP should be anywhere near the bottom few,i don't see a serious problem with it.

    Am I missing something ?

    Yes, it was lame.

Although I agree with the top three, the list is far too dominated by Moore and Connery. Moore does not deserve four in the top ten, and neither does Connery. Craig and Dalton should have had two each. Om their best they easily beat a "second best" Connery or Moore.

Moore might have been overrated a little on this list. I don't have an issue with 4 in the top 10 (personally, I had 3) but I was surprised that some of his "lesser" (not bad) performances weren't ranked lower.

I very much disagree with you on Connery's first four though. It's hard for me to find much wrong there.

And I'm split with you on Dalton and Craig. Dan certainly deserved more of his entries to be ranked higher. Dalton, while good, is just outside of my own personal top 10.

It isn’t bad but also not particularly special IMO. I think it being Moore-esque helped and hurt it, because the style didn’t always work. I always laugh when he tells the guard “Stay!” like how Moore said “Sit!” in OP. Though I still like the performance, I have to admit on the whole it’s Craig’s least remarkable.
