A greek hardline freedom fighter... Well, Carole Bouqet was quite convincing in her portrayal.

then again, why not go for the real deal:

    Tonia Sotiropoulou

Monica Bellucci as Ariadne. Ideally, in a Colonel Sun where Dalton played Bond.

Time to resurrect this thread, and see who you would rather see tackle other franchises.

Which Bond director would you rather see direct

    STAR WARS

I don't really care about Star Wars, but if Martin Campbell directs it I'll watch it and buy it afterwards!

Lewis Gilbert, no doubt. Of course I’m excluding Irvin Kershner who not only directed NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN, but has already directed the greatest STAR WARS film of them all; THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK!

Not the biggest SW fan, but I’d say you’re right.

I imagine Paul Verhoeven's Star Wars would be epic.

Luke Skywalker wouldn't just lose a hand. He'd be repeatedly shot at, with his arm even falling off. Then he'd be shot in the head.

An hour later, the doctors would fix him up and have him ready for his next misadventure.

Not much interest in this, but Lewis Gilbert gets to direct the next Star Wars, with Martin Campbell as a back-up.

How about superhero films? What Bond director would you rather see direct one of those, and which franchise in particular, if any?

Of course, Martin Cambell already did one.

Lee Tamahori of course! He basically did it already in the wrong series!
