Next week is holidays in my country, something to do with the catholic tradition (which I don't follow), but I don't complain because I don't have to go to work from today until the 21th. So I'll stay home, reading, working a little and catching up with a lot of movies.

:)) It is called "Easter" and it is not exlcusive to Catholic countries.

I was just trying not to be ethnocentric...

Library sale tomorrow. Refurbishment at the local library, so they are selling thousands of books and cds for practically nothing, just to save space for the time being. Looking forward to it.

I just finished my second year of college today, and am packed up and back home, so I'm up to absolutely nothing.

Yeah, unfortunately I'll likely be working all summer at my town's stupid glass plant. I'm thinking of faking my death and heading for the hills till the fall. Thoughts? Our town doesn't have a lot of tall buildings with obscured views of the pavement so I can't do it Sherlock style and I don't know any homeless people either. Drat!
    And cut your hair!
Already ahead of you. Just got a trim a few weeks back. ;)

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, if you need some assistance, I would be happy to help! My friend works at a salt mine and is trying to get me a job there this summer. The pay is amazing and would crush my loan debt from college right now, but the hours are terrible.

The weekend's here, and a few friends and I are going out to this huge rock overhang that looks over the city tomorrow. I've attended this college for three and a half years and I've never gone, so I figured I'd give it a visit before I'm out of this place for good next week, though I may return in the future. Sunday, I have a dinner and banquet to attend for the other RA's and I, and mixed in with those plans will be lots of studying for the finals. I'm just looking forward to being out of here in a week so I can do nothing for a week or so but catch up on all of my movies.

Don't worry about it. Thanks for offering, though. However, if you've got any suggestions for faking a death, I'm all ears.

Oh, okay. The objective is to get out of any kind of work, though. Plus, the whole faking death thing is just more "me." My parents don't know about this forum anyway so these posts might as well be invisible. ;)

Just leave everything one day and have someone escort you out of the city to a new location. Don't take a single thing. They'll search for a while and years later, perhaps only one or two people will question what happened to you! I wonder where I got this idea from...

I'm with you there, I would love to take the summer and do nothing, but if I don't plan on returning to college next semester for my second degree, I'll have to find a job sooner or later.

All this translates to "Growing up sucks." I wish I could conversate with my past self and tell him to enjoy himself, because this blows chunks.

Same. I'll be 23 in less than two weeks, and I've been realizing for so many years now how absolutely right the adults were in my life when I was a young boy: enjoy yourself, because those are some of the best, easiest years you'll ever have, and they fly by fast.
