Bill Clinton was even on the Everything or Nothing documentary saying he thought Brosnan was perfect for the transition out of the Cold War.

Clinton and Brosnan are really "my" President/Bond, because they were in those positions when I started learning about politics (even though I'm Canadian, lol) and when my dad introduced me to Bond through Goldeneye

Maybe some brit would like to do a comparable list with PMs. If we went by British Monarchs it would be a fairly simple job. Which is quite astounding when put into global perspective.

My turn : Bond films by Presidents of the French Republic (and Co-Princes of Andorra) :

René Coty (although in those days, the power was in the hands of the Prime Minister, which would have been Pierre Mendés-France)

    - Casino Royale '54

    Charles de Gaulle :

    - Dr. No
    _ From Russia With Love
    - Goldfinger
    - Thunderball
    - You Only Live Twice
    - Casino Royale '67

    Georges Pompidou :

    - On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    - Diamonds are Forever
    - Live and Let Die

    Valéry Giscard d'Estaing :

    - The Man With the Golden Gun
    - The Spy who Loved Me
    - Moonraker

    François Mitterrand :

    - For Your Eyes Only
    - Octopussy
    - Never Say Never Again
    - A View to a Kill
    - The Living Daylights
    - License to Kill

    Jacques Chirac :

    - Goldeneye
    - Tomorrow Never Dies
    - The World is not Enough
    - Die Another Day
    - Casino Royale '06

    Nicolas Sarkozy :

    - Quantum of Solace

    François Hollande :

    - Skyfall
    - SPECTRE

    And that's all for now.

EDIT : Our "Interim President", Alain Poher (in case the President is dead or incapacitated, that's the president of the Senate who takes the job pending new presidential elections, which has happened twice, once in 1969, after De Gaulle left power, and once in 1974, atfter the Death of Pompidou) was never in power when a Bond movie was released.

In the States at that time, the then President used a line from a popular American movie directed at Congress, "Go ahead, make my day."
Did Maggie ever tell anyone to "SITTT" or "HISS OFF!"?

Well as I'm a resident of Australia, then it seems only fitting to make the list...

    OP

    Bob Hawke - 1983 - 1991
    OP
    (NSNA)
    AVTAK
    TLD
    LTK

    Paul Keating - 1991 - 1996

    John Howard - 1996 - 2007

    QOS

    Julia Gillard - 2010 - 2013
    SF

    Tony Abbott - 2013 - Present
    ? SP

Not looking too good for old Tony at the moment. Very good chance we'll have a new Prime Minister before Spectre hits our cinema screens.
Former Prime Minister William McMahon was also the father of actor Julian McMahon, who has been rumoured in the past to have been a candidate as a possible Bond around the time of Daniel Craig's casting.
