I don't recall seeing that photo here GL, but @Bondson mentioned it was Tucci on page #1608.

Either could be great as Blofeld.

That cat on Mark Strong's back... Is that the same cat from Spectre? It looks like the exact same one. Wouldn't that be a first for the series? Casting the same cat actor/actress? If so, EON must've been impressed with his/her performance. It sure will be interesting to see if this pans out.
When said cat is published, surely his or her presence in Spectre and following films is secured.

Another upcoming starring role for Fiennes. Hopefully won't clash with B25 http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/956287-ralph-fiennes-joins-long-in-development-mr-vertigo

Why is it that bond 25 is gearing up and Fiennes keeps booking up his schedule? Does he want out of playing M?

Oh yes, @RichardTheBruce - I completely forget about that book. Blofeld's cat has certainly done very well for himself/herself so far. What we got in Spectre was a treat, and IMHO, a criminally underrated purrformance.

I'm sure Fiennes would only need 1 or 2 days max to say his lines for B25, provided he's not out running around with the rest of the MI6 gang for the entire film. Which he won't be.

It's likely that he got too tired of waiting on this one and went ahead and booked himself other gigs. It is a job, after all.

This. It's the same person that said Radiohead was doing the SP title song 100%, yet every time I see the movie, the singer sounds oddly like Sam Smith.

Just remember that Ralph Fiennes has something that not many overall 007 actors have: star power. He can have his fair share of input on his role at times. Also, he probably doesn't come cheap. He will probably have his fair share of screen time as well as Q, Tanner and Moneypenny.

Well, their voices are both pretty whiny so I don't see much of a difference lol.

This is your daily reminder that Blofeld will NEVER appear in a Bond film again. Spectre was the last motion picture in human history to feature the character called Blofeld.

Your daily reminders cause for sleepless nights here at MI6.

You've been saying for years that Madeleine would return in Bond 25.

Seriously, why do you keep posting BS which adds nothing to the discussions?

I actually wouldn't mind at all, but that's highly, highly unlikely.

i thought just recently, that Ben Wishaw confirmed that he is returning?

I think the closest to a confirmation on Whishaw was when he said, "I believe I'm contracted to be in it."

The usual MI6 crew will be back. They're just remaining more tight-lipped this time around.

I said that before Boyle & Hodge were hired. Lots of things have changed since then.

We probably won't get it till we get a new Bond, but I would really, really like to see a return to some of the more classical elements of Bond.

I think Craig's era has been strong in terms of quality, but it has missed an essential ingredient. A healthy dose of male fantasy. I don't know about you guys but growing up watching Connery and Moore, Bond felt like a character who's lifestyle we would all love to live.

Craig's tenure is the first time I have genuinely thought that I bloody well wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Some excellent points here, Roadphill. I think Craig is brilliant, one of the very best, but it is absolutely true that his Bond seems to be having the least fun of the six.

If they go back to bit parts for M,Q, and Moneypenny? As I recall from past films it is only 2 to 3 weeks work at best? So I do not see any reason to panic?

Remember Bond 25 will not be a 2 and a half hour epic like the last couple have been, so likely the MI6 crew will have smaller roles due to a time constraint of the narrative, and fewer action scenes also. In terms of scope, B25 will be quite toned down, but thematically and characterwise it will be very rich, with a strong emphasis on an older Bond reflecting on where he finds himself and where to go from here. A bit like unforgiven, but not necessarily a revenge mission unless they decide to bring Madeline back.

Personally I am surprised how they are filming in 5 months and we have next to no location rumors which does kind of scare me as I don’t really want another UK centric bond film.. Skyfall was I guess interesting but globe trotting is a crucial element of the franchise

I can see Bond 25 begin in Bond's car as his driving away from London with Madeleine. Then we get the best scenes from each Craig movie (about twenty minutes per movie) as Bond is narrating them to Madeleine. At the end of the movie Bond looks at Madeleine and says "Now we have all the time in the world to spend together, my love!" Cut to the ending credits and The Name's Bond, James Bond arrangement from Casino Royale plays once again.

    Tight continuity ✓
    Low budget ✓
    Short movie ✓
    Drama stuff ✓
Tracks rehashed from previous movies ✓

It's gonna be the best Bond movie ever.

Low budget can definitely be a good thing, but the prospect of a short Bond film doesn't appeal to me.
The more Bond the better please. Especially after this wait.

I think 130 min is good. CRs 140 was a bit long.
