  Nice list. In terms of 'big, scary guys,' I've always enjoyed Derek Mears and Michael Bailey Smith, the latter playing Pluto and Papa Hades in The Hills Have Eyes 1 and 2 reboots, respectively.

  Thanks for reading it. Like Jason in the F13 reboot (the reason why I choose Mear) I think Mears would be very imposing as Major Maxim. Sadly, I fear when the film does happen, and I think there's a good chance that it will at some point, the casting will be based on who's flavour of the month and not who'd be best to bring the characters to life onscreen.

  I'll stick with the DVD. I don't want my collection to be a mix of DVD and BR, and I don't want to upgrade all my DVDs to BR as most of them either took me long enough to find on DVD, were recorded onto blank DVDs or just didn't get an official release at all.
