Hey FromCanadaWithLove. I am new to the MI6 community and didn't know how to comment on the Skyfall dog question so I will write here instead. They are either Curly Coated Retrievers or simply Labrador Retrievers. I think they are Curly's though; I have two and recognized them in the film. The are more common in Scotland and Wales then they are in North America so that was another tip-off.
