I have an older computer with XP, but it does the trick!

My background is the same as M's.

The desktop of @BondFanMedia is the best so far, really slick and classy. Wonder if you can share with us the MI6 Custom theme.

Yeah, it's great. MI6 could even use it on the main website, in place of the slightly wonky image.

Not a Bond sadly, but I like to keep my desktop updated with the latest hyped movies. For the time being:

The funny thing is, it isn´t a theme pack at all. I designed the individual parts myself and painstakingly integrated them into Win7 Aero. The Start Orb can be changed with a program called "StartOrbChanger".

The wallpaper style presents a slick workspace with a green tone that actually pleases your eye (the design of M´s wallpaper is still my startup and shutdown screen, but the color tone is too bright for my every day desktop). Plus, you can arrange quick links or gadgets around or above the MI6 logo.

I also changed the branding of Win7...so, below the password field it says "Secret Intelligence Service MI6" instead of "Windows7 Home Edition". You can do that with "Windows7 Logon Branding Changer".

I am currently working on an animated version of the desktop, but so far it´s quite heavy on the cpu.

    It looks beautiful, @BondFanMedia!
Good luck on the animated version, it sounds interesting!

Could you please share the wallpaper with us? I'm sure many, including me, would like to try it out.
  • Sure, here you go. It´s notebook size 1366x768.

Thanks, @BondFanMedia! Unfortunately, though, it doesn't fit my 1920x1080 monitor so well, but I may try it on my phone. :)
  • Changing it up to Big Boss:

  • Mine is still Marilyn, but I have hopes of doing a custom desktop with her, Bogart, Hepburn, Grant, Curtis, Lemmon, Peck, and a few other film greats for a desktop. I just think desktop wallpapers mean more when they are your creation.

  • Here's mine, there are some great custom ones, I'd no idea you could do as much with your desktop other than change the background pic.

I saw this WP recently and i liked it a lot. Her name's Kuroki Meisa. ;)

Japanese women don't really do it for me, apart from the odd exception. She is one of those odd exceptions. Wow.
  • How do you post your desktop image?

I know how to do images with http links but how do you do this?

Easy. Press 'PrintScreen' from your Keyboard and paste it on Paint. save as JPG.
Go to a image hoster like Photobucket, upload that pic (you need an account first) then, get the 'Direct Link' and post here between the commands. ;)

Thank you! I'm proud to be among quite a few of you. I pray I never have to make the switch back, as I am enjoying using my Mac a lot more.
